  • Covered in feathers, running faster than cars, and living in cold climates are just a few of the ideas introduced in Jurassic World: Dominion. Are these features backed by science? What can we know about dinosaurs from the fossils we study? What did the movie get right?
Join us for this episode of Creation.Live, as hosts Trey and Ivana review the science in the newest film in the Jurassic World series with Drs. Thomas and Clarey.

Such a good discussion. The enemy works hard to insert his lies into everything. Great job Brian!

Although I really enjoy the scientific content of this video, what I enjoy even more is Christians discussing mainstream films from a biblical perspective. The worldview and philosophical assumptions of films is rarely discussed like this. Francis Schaefer I guess is another example. Keep this up!!!!! And I do thank you for the scientific content, reading ICR articles over the last eight years has really helped set my mind free from uniformitarian assumptions.

I always cringe in the first Jurassic park movie when they say "dinosaurs and humans.....two species separated by millions of years" lol 😂

I wish y’all would do this for the other movies also. Mostly the first park and the other 2 world ones. I would be interested in the change of thoughts and culture at the time or a little before the first park and the time the world ones were made. Also the changes in movie verses what was known. Like the raptor being changed just because he liked the name. And what they got right like how the dinosaurs walked and footprints

I am very curious, what does ICR think of the new documentary, Prehistoric Planet (May, 2022)? Is the evidence so overwhelming that Velociraptor had feathers, with the holes in the bones? Also what of desert and frozen tundra landscapes before the flood? I honestly believe that most of the world was a lush greenhouse, not supporting these kinds of landscapes, let alone dinosaurs thriving in these environments. In this documentary, they didn't show the Antediluvian (what they call, Prehistoric) vegetation and the exceedingly large trees that grew. It wasn't just dinos that got big - plants did as well. They failed to show this, even though it is preserved in the young earth fossil record. What does ICR say about this documentary? I'm curious.

      Dear Katriel,
Thanks for asking. There really is little evidence that any velociraptor had feathers. There is a lot of evidence to the contrary in fact. Here is a link to a movie review I did of the latest Jurassic World movie. This may help as it is essentially has the same issues. And it is likely that the biggest dinosaurs were hundreds of years old too. It was a global greenhouse in the pre-Flood world.

I don’t care about watching movies, but I did like hearing this discussion. I heard and saw enough that I don’t need to watch it now anyway …. :)

Although I love the scientific content of this video, what I like even more is the fact that we have Christians discussing a movie from a biblical perspective. That is so hard to come by. The assumptions and worldview content in films seldom gets discussed.

Most science fiction movies, shows and books serve as propaganda for the insidious TOE. Poison rapped up in candy.

I mean no disrespect to the composer of the creation live panel discussion videos but the intro/exit music is to frank, very bad. I really enjoyed your discussions on natural selection parts 1, 2, and 3 with one detraction being the music at the introduction and at be the end. The other podcasts you do have excellent music. Seriously please consider revising the music for the creation. live panel discussion podcast.

That's what indoctrination does to you. You should pay attention in Science Museums because they're actually telling you the truth.

I personally don't understand why a Christian would even go to an atheist movie? I would rather just enjoy listening to my favorite preachers on RUclips than waste my money and time watching these people push their agenda on the unsuspecting public.

Agenda? You're joking, right? There's no such thing as an 'Atheist movie', and there is no Atheist agenda. Your projection is astounding.
