    A system that displaces the oxygen in the room doesn't sound "completely safe for people". I am curious as to how you reestablish a non-IDLH atmosphere to the room after the system has deployed.

      It is pretty safe. I even participated in a live demonstration. The CO2 level accelerates breathing, making up for the lower O2 concentration. You are not exposed for long anyways.
      We use Inergen systems for our server rooms in our studios. I even had a complete system installed in my private estate in 2008. Luckily never needed it so far.
