Interesting video as always Sean. The 480 fps with the 3 gram balls is very good for this marker. Now I want to tinker more with my Stormer, testing the new springs you sent me 😊
What length did you get? Sounds similar to my results. The Lapco breech is machined differently and the bolt doesn’t make as good a seal for efficiency. Did you upgrade the springs?
@@lesslethalfordummies 14” and the biggest spring that I could get in it. I am going to try the lion claw next, the big shot is to tight with the 2.9 balls.
@@dale5560you should see better results with the Lion Claw. One thing i havent tested lately was the factory barrel. It may be better than the expensive Lapco 🤔
@@lesslethalfordummies I don’t know if you have a Running’s store where you live but they have tons of springs that fit the TechT hammer, I put two ball bearings in mine and then the biggest spring that would fit. 402 is my best number’s so far.
Wow nice ! Sean did those come in the square plastic like the short ones ? I use 1 inch piece on my speed loaders DK sent me enough for 25 very kewl 😎I might make a few more in the future for our friends on RUclips 😎🏁🏁🏁
What has your experience been so far with this Barrel General? I'm looking for a new barrel for my Tippmann TCR. Unfortunately, the original barrel has a solid muzzle break. Would you recommend Lion Clow .684 smooth 10 inch or Lapco .686 rifled 9 inch?
It is not the threaded portion that leaks. The outer black case (power tube) is friction fit over the valve. When air flows through the tube to the barrel it swells the plastic allow air destined for the barrel to escape prematurely.
@lesslethalfordummies any idea of the dimensions? i bought the warrior 98 kit so im curious if it will out do the heavy drive spring im usin now. also very curious to see wat u do the aluminum valve cover. theres a bar protruding from it that makes it "incompatible " with the tmc. but i know u gona sumthin crazy with it lol.
@lesslethalfordummies im actually gona crack it open today. i bn ridiculously lazy lately. Wish me luck! while i have it open i was thinkin of tryin a different drive spring as well. we'll see. 1 thing at a time.
If you are using rubber balls i did find the magazine was slow to respond. I have also heard some were missing the small ejection spring. I would contact Salt before attempting and disassembly.
Each time I insert my mag into my Valken M17, the projectiles are not loading into the chamber. Any suggestions on what the issue could be? I suspect that the magazine is causing the jam.
Shaped or roundball? Try some roundball if you haven’t already. Likely your mag winder is tangled and not fully releasing the follower. If you have an intact winder you must wind to insert projectiles. Even forgetting once can tangle the internal cable. Also inspect the small pen spring on the feed head crossbar at the top of the magazine. If they get deformed they can obstruct feeding. Give the mag a good wack on the bottom to ensure that crossbar pin is fully releasing when inserted.
Yes the stock is removable and can be configured with air through stock. Running 90g co2 my TMC topped out at 22j with the factory barrel. The same can be expected of the Byrna Mission 4. Those numbers can vary a little based on ambient temperature when using co2.
thats just sick i love it

I hope the springs boost you even further. You were already getting good numbers and i was playing catch up for a bit.
@@lesslethalfordummies I cross my fingers and hope for the best😅. Hope to make more videos soon 😃
Hi Sean, I bought the big shot .684 and the best I could get was 402 at 20j with the 2.9

The MCS came in rounds and the Lapco came in squares. Expensive squares i might add 😂.

I would choose smooth bore over rifled every day of the week for the distances these launchers are actually useful at.
Did you try teflon tape or liquid sealant on that thread?

nice #'s! wheres that fat spring from? im havin trouble breaking 25j.
It is just Ali spring but this one only fits the TechT lightened hammer.

@@lesslethalfordummies If it isn't the magazine, could there be any other issues aside from the magazine?
If the spring was mangle and tangle that would be your problem. Thats why many of us go to the winder delete.
Its the magazine. The only other time i saw this happen and it wasnt the magazine was using an smg magwell and the spacer block got distorted.
