nice vid.. I love this setup bro. I got the same setup 2.0 tdi 140 hp and the multitronic gearbox but on a saloon (sedan) they improved the cvt multitronic on b7 models. u will need to get it serviced every 40k tho.. be sure to get CVT oil as standard ATF will screw up your gearbox box good n proper.. audi Coventry charge 180 quid or u can go private will cost u about 100 quid.
Good cars let down by a shit gearbox, i like how you bum it up, i guess somebody has to as no other bugger does....i wonder if you've googled cvt faults
Thanks for your feedback Stewart. I am well aware of CVT and DSG/S Tronic issues. I would suggest that the CVT gearbox is the type one would have if they wanted the convenience of an automatic but are not concerned with dynamic driving. There is no substitute for a manual if you are a petrol head.
They're good in theory but crap in practice, I'm not really a p/h but like a proper auto box not 2 pulleys and an elastic band so to speak. I've got an A4 with this setup and bloody hate it
Would never buy a cvt in an Audi always go for a Quattro model auto as they come with a normal automatic gearbox 100% more reliable than the CVT multitrouble gearboxes that’s why all cvt Audi cars second hand are cheap lol good luck when it goes have £2k to fix lol
This is true, the DSG gearboxes suffer from the same issues as the CVT. They both use mechatronic units that often fail, especially if they are not serviced regularly. This A4 was fine for me but I did have an A5 quattro a couple of years ago that the mech unit blew on, Audi charged 5k for a new gearbox.

I wouldn’t buy a dsg either too many horror stories just like cvt
