A few hints that could help:
hint #1: When scouting out the heist for the first time, make absolutely sure that you scout out the underwater entrance to the compound that Poob uses here. Without scouting that entrance out at least once, the cutting torch option won't be available, and hence you won't be able to just burn away locks, you'd need a bolt cutter that you can find randomly in a few places on the island.
hint #2: Always pay attention to what secondary loot is available, how much they're worth, and how much of your bag they take up.
their order by value: gold > coke > weed > paintings > cash
the amount they take up from your bag for 1 full table's worth of loot (or for 1 painting, as that type can't be split)
gold: 2/3rd of the bag
coke / painting: half the bag
weed: 3/8th of the bag (kinda weird, I know. 2 of these + 1 pile of cash is a full bag, as Poob has shown too)
cash: 1/4th of the bag
Always keep track of how much secondary you pick up outside, if you're planning on finishing it with a painting from the office. If your bag is more than half full, you won't be able to pick it up. For this reason alone,I'd always recommend actually checking out what the loot is near the hangar before you start riding the bike for the actual scope-out mission.
hint #3: the setup tricks: For the speedboat, if you have the phantom wedge, use the phantom wedge. Drive to the drop off location, and do the suicide bomb thing there. This way you can push whatever the hell would be in your way on the road there out of your way without any worry of getting cops on yourself, as the suicide bombing will get them off your back anyway.
hint #4: The pathing Poob has shown for both the bike and the compound's inside is pretty good. Not necessarily the one I'd use, but pretty close to it. WhatI'd definietly do differently, is the part from 15:10 To be precise: The 2 guards that Poob ran past, and the one that he knocked out. Out of those 3, one of them will always have the keys for the other entrance. I'drecommend knocking the first one out when he's on the grass next to the gate. If you do it there, noone will notice him taking a bit of rest on the job. The 2nd one can be dealth with however you want, no other guard even goes near that place. Same for the upstairs one. Alternatively, you can just avoid all 3. The first 2 the same way Poob did, the 3rd by sticking to the wall on the south side of the building (where the balcony facing the sea is) near the corner. The guard will walk past you without noticing you, and you can just walk past it from there. About these 3 guards, the only thing you have to remember, is to not off the first guard before it'd reach the grassy area around the gate. If you do, the Juggernaught will see it on it's rounds around the compound.
hint #5: pay attention to the main loot when scouting the island.
Tequila < Ruby Necklace < Bearer Bonds < Pink Diamond < panther statue (event only) (also, first clear is always gonna be the Madrazzo files. Back before nerfs, this used to be the same value as Bearer bonds. Now bearer bonds and everything below it in the list are nerfed. A lot. Much lower payouts. When scouting the island, you can technically see what the loot is behind the glass before the game would gerister that you found it. You can just enter a new lobby and start the scouting again if you don't like what you got. Kind of a pain to do this, but considering the tequila only earns you 630k now, while the pink diamond is 1.3 mill, I'd say it can be worth it.
hint #6: Use the same exit strategy that Poob has shown here. Everyone who knows what they're doing uses that. It's much faster, and it is also much safer to do, as most guards won't be able to shoot at you, and if you can get out of the compound without being seen, you can most likely get off the island without being seen as well. Making the elite challenge quite likely to happen, if you were fast doing all this.
Overall very nice and informative video, I'd haveincluded the 1st, 2nd, and 5th hints from my list here for sure, as they're pretty important info, especially #1 for new players.
Edit: According to tb48bt (another commenter on this video) the guard at 15:10 shouldn't be taken out, even when it's at the location where other ones won't see; as apparently it's the cause behind the guard with extreme vision cone and wallhack spawning when picking up the main objective. If there's any truth to that, do keep this in mind.
I have played joining random newbies and swam to the drainage tunnels gate before they reached their set goal. They hadn't scoped it first. And it made it green and cuttable for the heist host

@@JordanDAD when you turn the camera, when the edge of the screen has the glass cage whatever it's called barely in the screen, with the main objective only partially in the screen, the game won't recognize it at once as found target. If you move the camera very slowly and stop when you already see, but the game didn't register it yet, move it out of the screen again, and leave the scope out mission, you will have to go there again once you restart the scope out process, but the game will roll the RNG again to see what the main objective will be. If you don't see what's in the glass cage (it's empty), it's bearer bonds. As everything else is in the glass thingie, and only the bearer bonds (and the first run's guaranteed loot) are in the safe.
I remember when the replay glitch was still easy to perform, and I had the hard mode panther statue from an event. 2.5 mill for a less than 10 minute finale run on repeat. It was the best way to get money. Since the replay glitch is hard to do, becausethe timing window is very short, and I can't consistently hit it, I chose to do the Dr. Dre finale on repeat instead. The replay glitch still works fine there, with the timing window for it being as forgiving as it was originally on the Cayo finale as well. Only 1 mill, not 2.5 as I had with that hard mode panther statue, but still a nice and easy thing to do.
So if I picked the velum as my entry (as an example) amd my exit set to velum, I can still just swim off the island amd still get away with it? Or do i have to use longfin/kotsatka for that exit strat? If so that would save alot of time and pain with getting secondaries on solo. I usually just get whatever painting spawns in the office and primary and dip via kotsatka
Another alternative to switching sessions is to use the guided missile on the Kosatka to destroy the helicopter, the mission fails and they give you another one.
Its still a lot faster to just rejoin a,new session
@mordon9051 Yeah, but sometimes you can get the Merryweather mission several times in a row and it becomes a bit tedious.

just block the valkyrie spawns.
i play in a potato laptop so loading into a new session is actually longer than just shooting the chopper ..
also i dont have the guiding missile i just use the periscope to aim and shoot the chopper down
On exit, instead of swimming down that trench for a few minutes, just turn right and swim into the middle of that 3 mine cluster. As soon as you see "Escape from Cayo Perico" vanish from your screen, you have escaped. After I am done scouting the communications tower, I just parachute or drive in front of a camera. The guards will take me back to the plane in seconds.
But you loose the direct spawn point to your kosatka. As long as the game has registered the primary target, I would begin from here on to copy Poob on this specific move. But I think Poob has many points to touch to become the ultimate speed runner.
I don't speedrun out of the normal. But I once watched this speedrun master shown on TGG's RUclips. Man they used a lot of job teleport tricks. Really difficult to copy unless you have teleports in your blood first
Or you can just jump down from the tower. After dying you'll spawn at the airfield
@@Mettsemmel or just find new private session so you dont have to go through a cutscene at the airport and have to spawn in your sparrow to fly to your kosatka.
I've been jumping off the tower to die for a quick return to the plane, but respawn to Kosatka is a tip I'll use now. Also, my bike route to the tower doesn't go so close to the gaurd gate. I have to wait for a gaurd on the tower to look away.
You're making a lot of assumptions about my internet speeds with all this lobby hopping.

that's what I do too but if this method pops me back to the sub at LS it seems much faster
if you change ANYTHING about your appearance directly at the tower or during the scope out mission, it autosaves your progress and you can lobby hop from there. saves tons of time lmao
@@mudpuddle8guy you don’t even have to do that. As soon as you find the primary target you can hop servers. I do it all the time.
For those doing the Kosatka approach, you don't have to leave the sub to do the prep mission. fast travel to the site, submerge, put the sub into auto-pilot mode, put on the diving suite and swim to the other sub. Leave the same way. I made the mistake when I first started trying to fly to the site....never ended well lol.
The point about secondary targets, I get that. But I think part of what makes the Cayo Perico grind fun is that you can have a different route each time due to the location of secondary targets, guard clothing, supply truck, etc. You've got things that change around each time. You can really get into the nitty gritty and scope out things that completely change how the run plays out.
Might not be the most efficient, but it's one of those things that adds so much replayability imo. At least for me. 👍
Agree, alkonost missions are a pain to do but MY G is it fun to switch up the route with it sometimes

Sometimes when you finish a prep mission, if I switch to another session it wouldn't save. What I always do before switching lobbies is change my appearance. It forces the game to save. It saves it even if you lose internet connection.
I have started half-way logging off of the game in order to try and force the game to save before I switch lobbies. I think that is working. I just cancel the quitting the game when it gives the option to quit or not quit.

If you swim to the whale skeleton just past a group of mines, you exit the mission faster 🐳
Tylarious proved this wrong. He began doing the whale carcass. But if you plus everyone on your team stop swimming after passing the first or second mine on the way to the whale carcass you leave the island even faster 🥳🤣

You don't need to swim for 1min to leave the heist. Just swim down into the dipped sand area right to the right of the ravine shown. When you get to it the helicopter will appear on mini map. Once you reach bottom of the sand area, start swimming to the surface. Halfway up the heli icon will disappear and heist will end in the next 3 seconds. So less than 10 seconds after hitting the water on the bike. Markgaming shows this exit.
Honestly great video, I personally learned this method first from TGG but I like the way you explained it too and some aspects I wasn't really aware of...such as the aspect that you can still use the gate as a cut-through while scouting the mansion and that you ramp up the wall to the checkpoint instead of making a jump off of a makeshift ramp via the terrain.
Really you highlighted and explained the tips and tricks for Cayo very well, some I had to learn myself. Great video

When escaping, the further point west is quicker than going south... When swimming away
Right, i tried sometimes use the south point, and my oxigen is empty, and even the character spawns again in Cayo Perico, being shooted by near enemies before the black screen (once the black screen didn't showed, and i had to swim again, being shooted by a boat and without use the oxigen device). So yes, West point is much better, with this i made the Elite challenge.
1 more tip is you should beach your kosatka on Vespucci beach if you like to use an oppressor mk2 go get the equipment and quickly come land on kosatka saves so much time
Yep for sure... I fast travel to initial recon location, then to elysian Island for the longboat to hit the trucks (which btw he didn't clarify, but they are all at different spawns based on which police station you get), and then vespucci beach for the rest of them.
Great video Poob. Thank you, but I disagree with not scooping the 2nd target. As solo, it is always best to find the Coke and takes a few minutes on the same bike.

Yeah I agree with this.
The way I do it is scope out both the hangar and the shed in Intel run. I have my infil point set to main gate regardless, so if the loot was bad in Intel, I just drive up to the main gate and take the short time to run up to the small shed there because the loot is nearly always higher quality there than the air strip. Then I head to the air strip to fill up my bags with remaining loot.
I agree to not go to every damn site, but that's so extreme, I can't imagine anyone but the biggest noobs are doing that. There is a healthy balance where you don't just blindly scoop the worst loot instead of checking every damn location lol.
I spend maybe one minute extra, which is still plenty of time to easily finish hard elite with a couple minutes to spare.

I never though aboyt the pathing u showed to get to the communications tower!I actually didnt even bother to check if the gates were open and if you could jump that little wall where the hardest part to get through is.Really saves times I am so grateful for your guide!
This is the reason why Rockstar changed oppressor price from 4mil to 8mil...
Not that it really helped, other than low levels and people who prefer not to buy it almost everyone has it either to grief or whatever reason they have

You can get it for 6m if buying a nightclub and Terrobyte. But honestly, Cayo Perico heist is way too boring, I prefer making money in other ways.
At 4:59 they now put sometimes put a guard at that shack. When having to follow the Mayweather chopper. You don't have to. You can just go to one of the two sites. Fight them and blow the helicopter out the sky when it finally gets close enough without having to wait for ever. Cutting torch at the high rise construction site. You can just fly your sparrow to the top. Saves lots of time.
When you jump from that spot he showed to swing away, if you turn right 45 degrees and follow the mines, it only takes about 30 seconds to leave Cayo Perico. I used to swim out the way he does here, and it takes at least a full minute of swimming to leave. This is the only thing he missed but I learned a lot too.
Be aware that the biggest mistake people do is keep swimming. The mechanics is similar to loose wanted stars in Los Santos. If you stand still, stop swimming you will have a better chance to loose the guards and loose the wanted stars. Based on cops in Los Santos this most likely is time based in combo with you stop moving at an unseen spot. You need to swim for a short while. And some map points is smart to swim to as a precaution. But I think it is time based and not water depth based. As Pavel will scoop you up almost anywhere?
The mines near the whale carcass for sure makes a good return.
And a group of players should stop swimming in sync.
If you leave your kosatka between Vespucci beach and LSIA, you'll never get the merryweather weapon source mission and always get the CEO Office raid because the area where the Valkyrie is supposed to spawn is already rendered.

Awesome tips! BTW at 15:21 you don't need to knock out the guard. Just use wall as cover and he walks right by - it's weird but somehow he doesn't see you.
yup and he will still be standing there when you come back out and jump the railing and never see or hear you. Most oblivious guard ever.
17:09 I will add something that will make that way more faster. Find a skeleton over there and move towards it and when you reach on top of it the cut scene will start
The cutting torch will still alert the guards but the area of noise it makes is smaller then demo charges, so just be mindful of your map and make sure there isn’t any guards near you , or just grab the bolt cutters
You should have also talked about the disguises. With one (and there is 2 spawn locations in the airport, mind that you might also not get them there sometimes) the heist is literally a joke, just dont kill people you dont need to or in a open location for cars. North dock is, for me the best entry because you get 3 disguises spawn locations and you can also possibly get the truck to enter the front door on the compound. Plus if you dont just follow what this guy says and hopp on a boat (there is at least 2 in the north dock) and go to the drainage tunnel
There is a faster route that you can take where you don’t go through the area where the party is held the first time you do the heist
On entering the compound. Turn right and hop onto the roofs. Way less likely to be spotted and it's like 5 seconds slower. I've had to start doing this instead of the route on vid bc I SWEAR they've added a new guard.
During the “Disrupt Buzzards” mission to remove the attack helicopters, you can use submarine fast travel + guided missiles to take them all out before the time limit expires. Usually you only need to fast travel once or twice.
It’s difficult to do with a Raiju in time, but quite comfortable with fast travel + missiles.
I don’t have the reduced fast travel rates yet but using the sparrow with missiles I was comfortably able to complete it too. It was by far the quickest setup completion for me
You dont even got to do any disruptions. They dont matter as long as you dont alert any guards disruptions arent important. Just hut headshots and dont get caught.
Just change session on the 3 missions and they will be done alone

16:35 there’s a glitched spot that’s right next to the shore. There’s 3 mines in a sort of triangle formation, the exit point is between those 3. On the mini map, the water levels will have a triangle sticking out away from the compound near it. I can’t post images on here so I can’t show exactly where it is on the map but it saves SO much time. At 16:55, it’s farther to the left from where you jumped off
Something i would like to point out when jumping off the island into the water if you look on the mini map where the water is before it goes all dark there is a little triangle and that will instantly make you escape

You missed an important time saving tip while actually doing the heist, back your boat to the shore, because when you get out the boat is programmed to float backwards and will float out to sea if you drive it in straight. If you back it in, it will stay where you left it.
Edit: I suppose this is only important if you are re using the boat for the drainage tunnel access
this is a good tip, i’ve started using long fin approach rather than kosatka and my longfin has always drifted hella far away by the time i finish looting airstrip. thx for the tip
Well, it depends on what direction the tide is, not what direction your boat is, although it does still help because you are better off not backing out once the tide has messed with your boat placement. I back in so I can easily exit and not have to deal with a potentially stuck boat facing inwards when I get back.
Case in point, no matter what direction I park my boat at main gate, it is always going to come inland, whereas the air strip it likes to float away from the beach.
The best thing you can do, honestly, is leave the boat coasting slightly in the direction you want, but not so much that your boat is beached when you get back.
Another tip btw, RB makes it much easier to turn the boat before backing in. Same for backing up. I wasted so much time before realizing that.
Jumping sessions definitely comes in handy if you are a solo player and like to grind and don’t like to waste time. Great tip for avoiding bad sell missions or just to get an easier, faster or closer set up mission in whatever you are doing. Once you do it, you will love it. ☺️

Using the bolt cutters are also a good thing they are way more silent depending on where you use them.
You say you can loot for half-full bag in the hangar, and grab painting in Rubios office to completely fill it, but I’ve never been able to do that. I tested it out multiple times Carefully making sure I loot halfway, but was never successful in also obtaining painting. I was very curious to see how that was going to work.
But other than all that, coming from an experienced player this video is 200% accurate and well detailed.
There's about a 5% chance that the airstrip and shed won't have enough to fill the bag. I've experienced this 8 times in close to 200 cayo's, 3 of those runs didn't have a painting forcing me to grab the glitched north dock lever to fill the bag.
To cancel MW weapon prep, consider using guided missiles to destroy helicopter on top of docks warehouse. Might be faster than looking for new session if your kosatka is parked nearby
Maybe if you have a duo, but it's definitely quicker solo (assuming you are going private session not public). It takes too long for all the cutscene stuff going in and out to be faster than just starting a new session.
If I have a duo, on that part we have him go to private session before I reset and then they come back. This saves him getting bumped out to a public session, which takes way longer.
For an experienced cayo perico heist runner, saying to not scope out the secondary targets and just get the ones at the airport, you know the difference between getting 4,4 million dollars and 6 million dollars on a single character run? The secondarys, not to mention pretty much everything in this video is for new players, especially those who bought the sub with no upgrades
Exactly I precisely look for coke or reefer. If there is a painting in the office then just one load of coke and the painting. If not strictly coke and reefer. No cash😂

I have done this Heist solo DOZENS of times and thought I had a pretty good route down for everything. All those little tips about finding a new lobby, the bike pathing, and jumping off the cliff are huge improvements to what I was doing. Absolute GOAT!
For the actual heist, swim slightly to the right instead at the end when you're leaving the island. There should be a whale skeleton and 3 mines in the area I'm talking about, swim towards them and it'll end the heist around 30 seconds sooner.
What I do to get back to the plane instead of lobby hopping, is just jump off the comms tower so it respawns you back at the plane

Holy shit. This way is a lot faster. But I usually check my secondary loot first then go to the bike, I always respawn in the Kosatka
He has a lot of good points but a lot of it isn’t reasonable and there’s much better ways to
I recommend just doing it a bunch and find your own way, though try to cut down on your speed every time

4:04 You know you could also just go to the northern docks by going across the northern beaches of the island, grab a dinghy from the North Docks, then take that dinghy down to the West Docks, Beach it, head southbound towards the West Water Tower, then cut across the road and go through the jungle straight towards the communications tower? No risk of guards catching you between the docks, gets you WAY past the Checkpoint, no pain-in-the-arse jump that inexperienced Cayo players WILL struggle with, and has all around just been a MASSIVE stress-prevention personally.
Yup it's definitely the least risk but it takes a LONG time. I did that every time until I got the jump figured out, which was an infuriating process and I'm still not perfectly consistent.
You can also go to the party area and rock hop/swim to the west dock - easy and no risk but it does get tedious after a few times.

Personally, I usually take the route where you walk on the roof to get through El Rubio's compound and no one will see the body of the guard at the bottom of the stairs because no one walks by him. Or at least not close enough to see him
Also for prep work 1st get your Weapons and leave the longfin as last, so once you have a good weapon mission (707, Penris, Schlongburg) you can fast travel with your Kostatka to venice beach and leave it there for all prep missions it's the best location
In gather intale (the first misson) you don't have to switch your session, just alert the guards and they will return you to the airport and then return to the city
I just jump down and kill myself. Much faster but I think just finding a new session would still be faster. It skips the cutscenes and the travel to kosatka

*[ITS GOING TO BE VERY LONG BUT VERY BENIFICIAL TOO SO READ IT!]* Always try to use oppressor MK2 while doing weapons mission from office buildings as there is little to no landing space on 2 of them and barely some on the 3rd one [ yes there are only 3 possible office buildings for the weapons prep] so sparrow or any heli will require more space to land rather than oppressor. also heli take almost 3-4 sec to start to fly while oppressor mk2 takes almost no time and its boost allows it to get to max speed slmost instantly. This is a important factor while doing Plasma Cutter prep too as if its del perro or rockford hills from where u have to steal the cutter from then just blasting the hell out of that gang crew with oppressor mk2 missiles and then just picking it up and boosting ur way out of the shooting is way better than having to land the chopper then picking it up and then com ing back to chopper as till then reinforcements of the gang crew will come in 2 cars which is a pain in the butt while flying a chopper. Incase of where to land the mk2 while entering the kosatka then right infront of the hatch i.e towards the inside side that is the side to which the door is also present, its a smooth flat surface there, just be careful that if mk2 gets tilted even a little bit then it slides in the water and eventually gets destroyed, so land it perfectly and it will be good to go when u go in kosatka, start another prep again and come back, it will be a fast takeoff again.
Well I started watching thinking this would be more efficient and whatever but literally what I already do from start to finish 😭
you can also just hide behind a train at the train yard next to the drop location at the docks(with your phantom and longfin) while delivering the longfin to loose the cops
A few improvments on the whole thing, paintings weed and money had already been seen to not be valuable of taking as it gives way less money a full bag compared to gold or cocaine, and gold can be obtained solo with simple glitches, another tip for the truck, rather put in on the spot where it needs to be delivered so you can save time by just dying and already having it on spot, and for entering the heist just for the sewage or parachute route loot compound and once outside if done all in stealth just grab what's left and swim in a boat or manually in any direction and soon enough you'll be out and heist complete.
I’ve done this heist over 50 times and I never knew there was a safe in the office with an extra 75k 🤯
Best way to do this would be to ignore everything on the gather intel and use cameras to find gold within the compound to use the snap magic or ledge hang glitch on
There’s a golden pistol in the table drawer, just pick up the key on the table and unlock the drawer 15:30

I just check air strip on Intel run, if it is bad I go directly to main dock first in the finale. But no need to sneak up there during Intel run.
I always go to the airport and grab anything I find there. I scoop the targets because it's easier to know what you'll find when is marked on the map and there's no guard there in the gather intel mission. If I find coke good, if not I just grab weed or money, prefering weed. You're right, isn't worth it to go about the island searching for secindary targets because there's a countdown on this heist and this waste of time over scooping secondary targets makes the heist unnecessary longer.

Tip for the Primary targets
1. When you arrive at the plane:
- If the door is open, the primary target will always be tequila.
- If the door is closed, you might get better targets like barrier bonds, ruby necklace, or pink diamond.
2. How to change primary target:
1 - If the plane door is open start a new invite-only session with your spawn location set to Kosatka.Exit Kosatka call Pavel and cancel the heist
2 - Start the scope out set-up. (Repeat step 1)until you find the plane door closed.
(And Remember, you have 48 minutes to find a new primary target before the Cayo Perico heist resets to normal mode.)

since i play with one other person in the cayo perico heist, i dont even have to scout the secondary targets bc I just go for the ones inside rubio's compound. Our bags are already filled up after we leave
when i jumped down while getting the torch i landed on the guard and i got killed😂😂

Yeah, it's kinda weird. GTA games used to be about fun missions but in GTAO people rather grind non-fun stuff for the money instead of doing fun missions that don't pay well. And when there's a DLC like Bottom Dollar Bounties people are like "the missions are fun but the Return on Investment is really low so I rather grind Cayo Perico" wtf
If you consider tedious missions as "fun" i suppose good for you mate
I have done the cayo perico heist a lot of times and after doing it for weeks, its not very fun anymore so you just want to do it as fast as possible. (I havent done the heist since they increased the cooldown for doing it solo)
Most of the content in the game is grind

To not risk the game not saving During the scope out, you could just jump off the tower and it’ll make you spawn next to the plane to head back to los santos
Also, if you stay in the cones of vision of the guards too long they WILL attack you even with the hardhat on
You don't have to kill Guard #2 on the stairs to the office. If you lean against the corner and let him walk by, you can literally run behind him. My pathing is similar to yours and ive perfected no-kill finales for Cayo.
Prep missions;
- First do weapon load out (in city)
- Then drive sub to channel/harbor area. Do Torch, Fingerprint/Codes, Cutter.
- Lastly do longfin. Set marker to location to deliver. Drive to marker while cops are chasing and sticky boom there if you didn't loose then along the way.
You only need to switch sessions when you get MerryHQ quest and after longfin.
This can save 5~10 minutes overall.

Check for secondary so you dont end up muddling your way thru the actual heist, (as i have seen poob do more than once) hunting for secondary after, higher risk, wasting time etc etc. afew minutes extra spent PREPPING makes for an easy heist.
I can rob either dock or the airstrip, plus hit the compound in and out undetected, 8-10 mins and job done. Elite challenge blah blah. Oh and using longfin. I have this heist legit mastered
when you finished all preps you could go to a public lobby and do it with a low level guy, only send a message to him and enjoy your gold or paintings if you play in solo
They wont grief you, they only wanna make money, give them 15%

You see I think it is worth it to check the two secondary loot spawns for the main dock that are easily accessible from the boat that you don’t really need to kill any guards and the hanger and the shed everything else is not worth your time
I don't skip it if it's the Merryweather weapons prep. The Merryweather guys only spawn in one of 3 locations, and you don't have to follow the helicopter at all. Just fly over near Merryweather to get the helicopter moving, then just fly ahead to those locations until you find the Merryweather guys. Once you find them, you can take them out and usually have the area cleared by the time the helicopter shows up. Take out the guys in it once it arrives, then enter in the Avenger.
Shooting the guard outside the hanger will sometimes alert the guards. I wouldn't say you can guarantee 10/10 times this works. But you had some good tips that help speed this up a little bit.

3:10 or just use the glitch(if you playing solo) you can grab gold and its kinda easy to do once you do taht first
In Merywether weapons mission you technically don't need to follow the helicopter, there's only 3 possible locations and it will alwyas fli in a straight line to it's destination so you can tell which it is. So just get there beofre the helicopter and kill everyone. You might still need to wait for the heli to get there for the objective to advance, I'm not sure if you can skip that and go into teh avenger before
That low payout is exactly why I do 2 people, also I'm surprised to see the methods I made when the heist dropped are the meta
Exactly, duo all the way (also most lvl 50s are good for the job. Just tell them to follow you, don't kill anything and just open the gates to grab gold and it's an easy 1,8 mil (split it up) + hardmode elite in 7 mins
Am I missing something though? 1.8m split up even with hard elite is still less money. Or are you leaving the split 85/15?
I use the long fin 99 times out of a 100 so I can move around the Island as needed during the heist. Use a guard uniform even without the truck as can then move freely. I always find the cutting powder as it spawns in 3 points only and it’s on route to the tower. I have a Phantom wedge and park on the rail bridge just before the drop off point as you will always lose the cops when parked on there
1:14 Even better, learn job warp and warp close to the velum. 6:10 that might bug the game and u have to do the scope again, so I recommend jumping to death then geting into plane. 7:05 U can also accept a job (like gerald or a pre made) and leave job so cops will be gone, u don't die and u stay close to truck. 08:08 buy supressors first to avoid trouble. 10:24 don't stick in guards vision too long or they will aggro. 17:20 go for the whale bones and when the chopper disappears on hud ure done.
instead of going to the hangar, then to the compound, its faster to just go to the compound first then go to the main dock. theres 2 lockups easily accessible there and you can just take a boat and drive away to escape.

Wait, are you telling me, that the random guard that spawns in once we have the main objective, that has a gigantic vision cone and sees through walls is because that one specific guard is dead/knocked out? wtf? If this is true, I'll have to edit part of my own comment...
@@Wortigon2000 Yes. Occasionally the new guard that spawns spots the body. It doesnt happen everytime but often enough to make it not worth killing the guard at all if youre running solo. (You can pretty much only kill him safely if you take out the Jugg as well, but unless youre gonna glitch through the doors for gold loot there is no reason to do so when going solo)

12:29 I'd recommend when you jump down, not to aim for the forlift but rather to the floor. Because you can get stuck somehow between forklift and crate and can't get out.
Yeah I've encountered those problems on that forklift too.
The pallet has a pretty jankie collision box
1, Intel part: I scope the hangar and opposite area, get the motorcycle to the southernmost beach tip north of the main dock and then use my diving suit to swim there and run beside the water tower and possibly find the washing powder on my way. Just thru the jungle with no guards up to the tower.
2, To lose the cops: Get into the truck once the Longfin is attached, get out and call your Buzzard. Circle until wanted level is gone. Oldest trick.
I'm fine with them making guards detect bodies but the then need to make it so you can pick them up and move them
13:16 it actually does matter which loot you get because obviously, certain loot is more valuable than other loot when you fill your bag to max capacity. i.e a bag 100% full of money will give you less than a bag 100% full of weed, money and weed, coke and weed, etc
Sure, he is just saying time is money so don't waste too much time hunting coke over weed and cash.
Still, I don't really agree with him to just skip all loot. If my airstrip loot is bad, I will run and grab loot at the main gate first and I still have plenty of time to get my elite bonus.
Here's some stuff I do even before watching the video and proceeding to not change my routes:
1, Fast traveling using the submarine to get as close to the destination as possible then proceeding to use my sparrow to reach land
2, I take the bike and drive into the water and swim around the beach that normally has the beach party and make my way to the main dock then proceed to run to the nearest water tower and then from there run up the mountain to the communications tower and when I'm done finding the main target I jump off the tower to die and respawn at the airstrip and exit the island
3, I use the guided missiles to destroy the merryweather helicopter and take literally any loadout cause I'll only use 1 of the guns 1 time and it is to take out the guard that stands in el rubio's building and sticky bombs will just despawn off of el rubio's helicopter when I swim off of the island
4,, I use the longfin to enter the heist at the main dock and make sure i am in first person so that i don't have to wait long and i go to the airport and collect only the high value targets first and then after my bag is full i go and enter the compound using the cutter which also doubles as a tool i can use for burning chains on doors
I already take the route you used in the heist and have used it for quite some time, I however don't knock out the guard I instead shoot him as it is safer then going up and trying to melee him
Also, if i somehow get caught i use the money from the wall safe to avoid my main target take from being damaged. then theres also the fencing fee which usualy takes 100-150k and pavels cut which is around 12k max
