Braveheart and The Patriot, my favorite Mel Gibson movies. Jason Isaacs, the man was born to play a villain.

Ain't that the damn truth. The man exudes bad guy energy in every role. Though I think he overdid it in harry potter. He's more intimidating than Voldemort in the movies, not counting 6-8.

Great movie! Gives me goosebumps everytime still. Sad to know Heath Ledger and the girl who played Susan is no longer with us. RIP

Yeah, this movie was an emotional roller coaster when I saw it opening weekend. Still is. I got a little emotional seeing Cassie from PIB cry like that!

I remember watching this in school. The teacher had to block it when the kid was shot in the back. Not sure why I specifically remember that.

Why would they show this in school? It’s a good movie, but there’s almost no historical accuracy.

@@roems6396 It was a public school and I think the teacher just wanted a break that day. She did make us write a report on it.

Watching Mel Gibson go mad with a tomahawk in the theater was terrifying.

This is gonna sound corny but at 13 the "Thomas" scene along with Susan let me know that I was going to be a father some day. I stood in the theater and said the same thing both me and my boy said in the theater years later when that punk killed Han Solo, "Mother Fucker".

The movie wasn't based on historical accuracy, but you can't tell me that the British armies weren't complete douches like in the movie.

Colonel Tavington is my favorite character in the whole film. I agree with this tactics because they are necessary regarding war.
