I can't believe that she's in her 90s she looks much younger she's got such a great sense of humor. I laughed so hard when she said she was going to will it to her sister as always thanks for another great video and you seriously have the cutest patients
What a wonderful lady Ms. Christina is. I cannot believe she's in her 90's! Her sense of humor is terrific as well. Lastly, I was super excited to see you had a dilated pore of winer to share with us, thank you kindly Dr. V.
that was crazy and only person I have seen wanting to take it home. I think that is awesome. And that he let her take it ROCKS! Warmest regards and best wishes, Michelle B
Dr. I love how personable you are with your patients. this woman was very comfortable and happy with you and her results and that's all that matters. I wonder if she needs another grand daughter because I want to adopt her!
I have a sebaceous cyst growing on my back I'm gonna need to get taken care of at some point lol its not bothersome I think the Mrs is more annoyed by it because I'm always asking her to squeeze it and she's tired of being shot in the face from it lmao
I got a kick out of it when you asked that lady if she wanted to take her huge blackhead with her and she said yes. Back in the 50's, when a child had a sore throat the first thing most doctors did was remove the tonsils. When I was about 6 years old, I had my tonsils out and the doctor asked my mother if she wanted to take them home with her and she said yes so he sent them with us in a little alcohol-filled jar. I wasn't very interested in them but my mother seemed to be inordinately proud of them and every time we had company she would tell one of my brothers "Run and get Maryann's tonsils" and she would literally beam as she showed them off to our company. Now, what our company thought of that remains a mystery because if it bothered them at least they were polite enough to remain silent. HOWEVER, one of my brothers was so grossed out by the entire procedure that one day he went sneaking in where Mom kept the little jar and took it out and disposed of it somewhere. Mom never knew what happened to the missing tonsils. She was convinced that she had somehow misplaced them and periodically she would gather the entire family (including the brother who threw them away) and we would go on a "let's find the tonsils" hunt.
Maryann Anderson my mom has a jar with a screw from her toe, a jar full of kidney stones, a couple stents, and a port a cath. 😂 I can see us going around looking for her jars
Diesel Darlin Oh Lord I remember as a nurse, very young I was asked to get some stuff from an old OR in an old shutdown hospital. I was on the top floor of this old creepy place. I got the stuff that was wanted in the OR but next to it was a doctor's private office next to the OR. This hospital was named for the long dead doctor. Was not a lot of stuff except an extensive collection of jars filled with the most disgusting and totally weird stuff. I will not go into descriptions, you wouldn't sleep for a week. The only thing I want in jars is peanut butter and homemade crabapple jelly🏥🏥🏥🏥🏥🏥🏥
at first i was frustrated at how he's not getting it with his tweezers. but after i fast forward and saw it come off wonderfully, it was so awesome. 💕💓💖 i loved itttt
Great clip Dr Vaughn, this lady has the most amazing skin for a person of her age. Every time I say it but you have beautiful patients, not like that at our surgery their just a bunch of mismatches who are grumpy and down right rude xxx keep up the good work.
I liked the fact that you didn't make any cuts in the beginning. I hate to see blood right from the start, ruins the whole experience. We dont make incisions when we are popping one naturally! Thanks for your hard work!
Hi Doctor Vaughan, I've watched this video many, many times and I have to say that it's one of my favourites!! I don't care how long it took to extract it because seeing the whole thing emerge in one piece was worth the wait. You obviously care deeply about your patients and I think you are an awesome MD!! Thank you for sharing these videos, and keep up the good work. As usual, this is sent with best wishes from Wales, UK 🇬🇧😀😀
Francesca, Thanks for the comment. I agree that it is so satisfying to see it come out in one piece after the long attempt to preserve the patient's skin intact. I feel it builds suspense in the video like a good suspense movie. It is great to hear from you again. I am glad you continue to watch our channel. It would be great to see you show up on one of our live videos. You can receive notifications when we go live by being subscribed to the channel and clicking on the bell icon on our channel page.
thank you so much for replying to my comment. I hope you didn't take offense as it wasn't intended. I realise it can be hard to get it just right but I think your videos as great.😊
Nice work Dr. V. You also have the patience of a saint with some of the commenters. Hurrr you no Dr. Lee. Well yeah you're not a specialist, people must not realize this. Thanks again for all of the videos though, you seem like a swell fell and a great doctor.
this was such a cute little lady... I love how the doc put the excised dpow into a specimen jar. I remember when my grandmother had gall stones, she brought them home with her in a glass specimen jar, like it was a prize!
God Bless her she looks Great !! Dr. I understand u didn't want to cut her but she truly needed it & it would HV been much faster for her instead of all that digging & picking to get it !!
Good grief that was so incredibly satisfying when it eventually came out!! Until then, I was literally in pain willing it to COME OUT ALREADY LOL!! What an awesome patient!
just to let you know, I took one out of my mom's back and I found using a single needle works the best. it needs to be a large quilting needle, but it comes out whole.
AS Always I love to watch your show. The people are so familiar. I almost start to tear up when I watch! Especially this young lady . Wow does she act just like my relatives.
God Bless this Dear, Elderly Woman. WOW! ...I can't believe she'a actually 95 yrs. old. She looks at least in her mid to late 70's. The cool part about this Lovely & Sweet Patient's "Extraction Procedure". She had much patience, was very strong, remained relaxed, calm, and kept a great sense of humor! Thanks for sharing this video. ✌😉
Thanks. The material was very hard, and it was a larger diameter than the pore. Eventually it had to be cut to get a clean removal, but we tried to avoid it.
Auburn Medical Group you did try really hard all these ppl moaning cause it took so long but it's about the patiant not the time. It's obvious ur a caring doc, did she really take it home
Wow doesn't Christina look awesome for her age! I would never have guessed she was in her nineties! Loved the video Dr Vaughn but I couldn't help but wonder why you choose not to use a comodone extractor? X Claire X

Upon thinking about it, your dad probably has a great tool that we have seen in salivary stone (sialolith) removals. It has a tiny flat end (I call them spatulas, lol). If they don't have a sharp edge, they might make excellent pore plug lifters, kind of like miniature crowbars!
pandroidgaxie i could take some Picts of the tools I'm thinking of if it could help. i know exactly what you're referring to, but these tools i mention are quite specialized and specific for what dental work calls for, but i kid you not when i say i truly believe they could be highly useful for some of these dermatology procedures. if you'd like me to shoot u a few photos of what I'm thinking of plz email and ill do it asap. pwrflsoul@gmail.com only trying to help, AND get my odd fascination of dilated pore cleaning going in a smoother direction! lol 😋

Her skin is amazing for her age. I would've never guessed she was 95 at all. Wishing her many more birthdays to come.
I can't believe that she's in her 90s she looks much younger she's got such a great sense of humor. I laughed so hard when she said she was going to will it to her sister as always thanks for another great video and you seriously have the cutest patients
I can't believe she's in her 90's! Her skin looks amazing!!
I can't believe how incredibly smooth her skin is..and tight too. Doesn't look as though she has spent a lot of time in the sun. Wonder what she does?
What a wonderful lady Ms. Christina is. I cannot believe she's in her 90's! Her sense of humor is terrific as well. Lastly, I was super excited to see you had a dilated pore of winer to share with us, thank you kindly Dr. V.
Jacee K I'll porr
this one needed to be cut and i couldn't breath right until you did it. great job
Thank you for showing people that there are good doctors and nurses out here in the world.
Isn't Christina just wonderful? I may have said this before, but you have the loveliest patients Dr. Vaughan. Lots of love from Ireland!
+Salma Kinsella she is a great one.
That lady looks FANTASTIC! She is beautiful, I would never have thought she was over 70....wow!
I know!!
that was crazy and only person I have seen wanting to take it home. I think that is awesome. And that he let her take it ROCKS!
Warmest regards and best wishes,
Michelle B
I can't believe she's 95! What a beauty. Thanks for the video and great care for your patients. ❤
I wish more doctors were that friendly. Great bedside manner! :)
Wow! She looks like she’s at least 15 years younger. Great personality, too. And a great pore of winer as well!

Some lay people have a strong interest in medical experiences. Some have an even stronger and more extreme interest.
Maryann Anderson My mother kept her gallstones in a jar with white lacey fabric with her collectible figurines for years. 😂
Maryann Anderson my mom has a jar with a screw from her toe, a jar full of kidney stones, a couple stents, and a port a cath. 😂 I can see us going around looking for her jars
Maryann Anderson who wants a 60year old blackhead hehe😄

Christina, made me jump back somewhat as she so resembles my Mom in every way!! I had to scroll up/down several times. 😏🌹
Reminds me of my Mom who passed away a year ago at the age of 90. Beautiful lady and so nice. God bless patient and Dr
It is very interesting seeing the different techniques of treatment for these type of issues. Thanks for explaining as you go.
WOW, she didn't look like she was in her 90's and her skin looks amazing!
Marie Lau that's what I thought too.
Marie Lau Her skin is beautiful, looks better than mine!
Rachel Ferne I noticed that where the skin is covered by clothes, you don't get sun damaged skin, and it stays young looking..
Marie Lau yass she is goals. Can I have skin like hers when I get to her age? Like that's my main goal 😂
Marie Lau I thought 70s. She is too precious.
what a great doc! Explains everything, doesn't rush and cut corners
What a wonderful patient! Wow, she is in great shape for 95 years old! I wonder what she would say her secret is.
What a sweetheart of a lady, and getting a doggie bag to top it off. nice clean job you did on this lovely lady,
at first i was frustrated at how he's not getting it with his tweezers. but after i fast forward and saw it come off wonderfully, it was so awesome. 💕💓💖 i loved itttt
Just building dramatic tension
Great clip Dr Vaughn, this lady has the most amazing skin for a person of her age. Every time I say it but you have beautiful patients, not like that at our surgery their just a bunch of mismatches who are grumpy and down right rude xxx keep up the good work.
A small curet may have helped with the hard stuff . Good job any way ! Your so gentle and have a great rapport with all your patients.
I liked the fact that you didn't make any cuts in the beginning. I hate to see blood right from the start, ruins the whole experience. We dont make incisions when we are popping one naturally! Thanks for your hard work!
Good job doc and I like how you wanted to try to remove it without cutting the skin. Even tho it came to that you still did a great job.
What a beautiful 95 y/o! Her skin was so nice too.

The patient is absolutely adorable! The dilated pore of winer was much larger than I anticipated; fantastic removal!
+Rebecca Ulik that's what is so great about these.
So sweet patient! And her skin is wonderfull for a woman of 95 years old! Not over 60 years old for me! She seems so young! 😄
thank you so much for replying to my comment. I hope you didn't take offense as it wasn't intended. I realise it can be hard to get it just right but I think your videos as great.😊
I hope I’m as of sound mind as this wonderful lady when I get her age. God bless her sweet soul💖💖💖
Oops not Dr pimple popper, I enjoy how she removes these. Glad you decide to cut. Tysm for the pop!
I want to hug Christina. She's so sweet and lovely.
Well done. Thank you to the beautiful lady for letting us watch the removal.
Her skin is beautiful.
8:04 forceps/pick-ups with teeth/grip *takes massive breath of fresh air*
YOU'RE WELCOME!
Thank you! I was getting anxiety!!
Thank you Christina for letting us watch! You don't look a day over 50 sweetheart! 💖👍🏼
The lady was a real sweetheart, reminded me of my mom. That was a tough little bugger to get out.
+Connie Jelinek it was an adventure.
She looks much younger than 95! Adorable little lady!
Loved all that hard work!!
Wow, she looks amazing. Wouldn't have believed she was 95 !
She looks amazing for being in her 90's!! Hoping that I have the same luck!
I love your sense of humor! Great job!
Nice work Dr. V. You also have the patience of a saint with some of the commenters. Hurrr you no Dr. Lee. Well yeah you're not a specialist, people must not realize this. Thanks again for all of the videos though, you seem like a swell fell and a great doctor.
She doesn't look 95! Her skin is amazing
I feel like the needle-nosed tweezers weren't the way to go here.
Abby Cross it’s called the stabbing technique, lol, that was hard to watch.
Dr. Vaughn I'm still seeing this video on another channelsI
I will be happy to give you the channels I find them on.
This was so cute! I loved Christina!
Have you tried a curette. Good for digging it out also scraping the bottom to make sure you have removed all the capsule
You get the best patients!! So darn cute!
he is the nicest doctor, not condescending like most.
this was such a cute little lady... I love how the doc put the excised dpow into a specimen jar. I remember when my grandmother had gall stones, she brought them home with her in a glass specimen jar, like it was a prize!
She's wonderful. Her skin is really good for being in her 90s.
She is adorable. 95 years old, wow! :)
love your videos all the way from south Africa
God Bless her she looks Great !! Dr. I understand u didn't want to cut her but she truly needed it & it would HV been much faster for her instead of all that digging & picking to get it !!
Wow, 95, she looks great!
this Dr. seems so nice! I will definitely be a subscriber from here on out 👍
Good job doctor. Love you and Dr. Lee and Dr. Gilmore
I am legit channeling my inner Dr. Lee, "Come on, little friend!"
I enjoy your humor! rather watch you then Sandra lee!
I enjoy both.
WOW! That was HUGE and fun to watch. Thank you for sharing
Dr. Vaghan, you are a wonderful doctor!
She looks wonderful!!!! I'd love to know what she uses on her face and body!
God Bless this Dear, Elderly Woman. WOW! ...I can't believe she'a actually 95 yrs. old. She looks at least in her mid to late 70's. She looks good Dr.did a good job getting it out
I appreciate that you tried so hard to not have to cut her
God Bless her, she looks great for her age.
Thank you for not going straight to the incision. sometimes that's not always best for the patient. you are very good and do nice. thank you.
Wow doesn't Christina look awesome for her age! I would never have guessed she was in her nineties! Loved the video Dr Vaughn but I couldn't help but wonder why you choose not to use a comodone extractor? X Claire X
+Claire Westmoreland comedone extractors do not work when the diameter of the contents is greater than the diameter of the hole. They are meant to be used on true pores. This is not actually a glandular pore.
Auburn Medical Group I was rooting for a curette.
I wondered the same thing since you were using tweezers/pick up's as your first attempt to retrieve the DPOW.
Claire Westmoreland I know!! She looks and sounds incredible!
I know, right Clare?! Nonetheless, still a quality video!
You are a wonderful Dr. ! Amazing bed side manner. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 all the way. As an senior citizen advocate, I really appreciate the effort to avoid cutting your patient. Judging from the size of that dopw, it was inevitable. Great effort nonetheless!
great video.. what an amazing precious woman she is .. awesome job too .
I throughly enjoy these videos from Auburn Medical Group! Dr. Vaughan is very through & he has a matter-of-fact & polite personality. +Marianne Calabrese thank you. Some of our technique is not perfected yet, but we are still learning.
Thank You Auburn Medical Group! Was that Dr. Vaughan himself that, responded to my comment?
Yes
I was digging that out with her, thank goodness she got it eventually
You are so good to your patience
Cute little lady! Bless her heart!
Thanks, Suzanne.
Wow, she has younger looking skin than I do at sixty-three!
Kathy Robinson She has younger looking skin than me and I'm 16 haha
She was awesome!
Okay I must admit that was satisfying.
What a beautiful lady, and again, all your videos as so appreciated!
the tools my dad uses (he's a dentist) would be useful here. some of the hand tools look like small spoons, with and without pointed ends.
+lshona991 the tiny "spoons" (good description!) might be curettes. In dermatology and general practice, curettes usually have a hole in the middle of the spoon bowl, so it looks more like a ring.
A lot of posters (and I) thought a curette could have been used. People may not realize it, but curettes used for scraping have sharpened edges - they aren't a soft edged spoon. Sometimes Dr. Lee's comedone extractor would be more effective as a pretend curette (no shatpe edge) - this monster rock would not have wanted to be squeezed through that hole.
Upon thinking about it, your dad probably has a great tool that we have seen in salivary stone (sialolith) removals. It has a tiny flat end (I call them spatulas, lol). If they don't have a sharp edge, they might make excellent pore plug lifters, kind of like miniature crowbars!

pandroidgaxie lol for sure. when I worked for my dad and did the ordering for whatever he needed we used the supply catalogs specific to dental professionals, so we didn't recieve those offering tools that say, a GP for instance, would need. Wow! Great video
She is SOooooo Adorable!!! Bless her Heart!!!
All your patients are so cute 😊😊
Why didn't you use the whole cutter ?...But you are the good doctor, good job 😉👍🌟🌟🌟🌟
She is just a Living Doll!!!
Her skin so beautiful ! 95 ! She looks great !
I also like the Doctor consideration for scaring ,by open that way ,the little scar would absorb better ,then across .
Frustrating to watch you remove it took so long!
THE SUSPENSE WAS KILLING ME
Elizabeth Peters I think some dpows really are harder to extract than others despite the instrument used
Elizabeth Peters I agree
Just use an extractor and remove it cleanly!
Elizabeth Peters / let's see you do it faster then
Such a sweet lady! Good work Doc!
Dream Team: Mark Vaughan and Sandra Lee
what a TRUE trooper she is!!!!!
