At a rod & Custom show in '75, I saw what was touted as Hitler's 1943 armored limo. It was battered, with a .45 bullet hole halfway through the 3" thick right rear door window and a hole cut in the rear fender so you could feel the armor plate. It had inner & outer windshield defrosters and could be greased using a dashboard control. It had missing "idiot stick" signals and a RED spotlight on the driver's side. That may be it, totally restored. They should have that window on display. The sign said original windshield was delaminated, possibly because of the inner & outer defroster temperature vs. the middle of the window.
