Great guide! Not sure if you know, but if you modify the "Display Element" checkbox inside the HUD editor for the elements you want to show/hide (hotbars etc) then it gets saved to the HUD layout, so you won't need to use a macro command to enable/disable them separately to swapping the layout.
Yup I'm aware 👍 The macros I've shown here I've been using for 3 to 4 years now and it just works for me with no alterations. I was afraid to make any changes to something that's been working for me. "If it ain't broke don't fix it" kinda thing but hopefully players see your message 👍 much appreciated my friend 🙏
Great Question: that is achieved in the sheathed and unsheathed options in the character config. From there you will see which hotbars you want active. For me it's sheathed with exploration icons while hidden. Once I unsheathe my weapon, my cross Hotbar 1 is displayed with battle icons.
Hm, for some reason when I do the Inventory Macro I only get Inventory and Chocobo Saddlebag, no Character or Armory Chest. I tested just /character by itself and that seems to work 🤷🏻♂ any ideas?
Hi - just getting to comments and saw yours - I booted up the game as soon as I read your challenge to see if I was experiencing the same thing. I recreated the Inventory Macro from scratch and it executed with no issues. My only recommendation through these Comments are to stick with the basics: Try starting a NEW Clean Slate Macro, No Icons or anything and see if it works with what I have in the Description Box for the Inventory part of this Video - I definitely want to help with this asap. You can also try Process of Elimination where you run one macro at a time to ID where the issue lies. FYI, RUclips does not notify Content Creators on responses only net new comments. I will try to remember to swing back by this comment to check up on this issue.

How do you make it so that a different cross hotbar becomes your main bar when you swap between exploration and battle UI modes?
