Basically those that are solid & currently relevant lyricists, performers & producers or are trusted to review and critique artists. It’s soooo disappointing to see people calling artists like Lotto hip hop 🤦♂️ she says the same thing, has horrible delivery and lyrics say nothing. Can’t knock her success but as a former producer, Engineer & MC I would not want her coaching me or any of the artists I collaborated with or had on my label. Feels like those game shows hosted by #hasbeens looking to stay relevant. Luda is legit and a legend but for him to say Lotto is the truth made me lose respect. Just my 2 cents. Hip Hop is coming back but this show does not represent that at all!!!

the show was entertaining which is the most important thing for a second season and tv overall. thats the reason they picked these main judges, its entertaining personas AND probably the biggest names willing to do the show & generate the views. youre trippin if you think someone like kendrick would be a main cast for a show like this. having someone as talented as d smoke win that first season is reason enough to give the second season a chance.

I understand Cardi B's criticism, should've bring Missy Elliott instead. Should've bring DJ Premier, RZA instead of DJ Khaled. TI are Luda are ATL legends.
first of all, people like frank ocean are deeply interwined with hiphop & rappers (especially since frank started his career by being a ghostwriter for good music) and as guest jurors its fine. second, do you think they can bring whoever they want? people have to be willing to attend.
