I just finally got to the 30 blog post level and Google took an interest. But now I have to base more blogs on my search analysis. I did the think to get my ideas out but I think that is okay because I have content to refer my potential clients to when I speak to them about ways to help them.

As usual, this info is spot on for me on so many levels in my quest to build a content driven website and what I've not understood clearly along the way. This has been an eye opener and how I need to focus what I really should be doing for better traction.

There are so many good valuable nuggets in this video I've replayed this video a few times.

I really like the topics you cover and your no-nonsense style of getting straight to the point and how you provide an outline on everyone of your videos so we are able to jump right to the topic.
Going through this flowchart for my website:
Do I have enough content that is old enough? Yes
Do I have more than 10k traffic per month? Yes
Is your income greater than $10 RPM? No
Ads & Affiliate marketing? No. Just ads (Mediavine).
I'm not sure how to implement affiliate marketing with my celebrity biography/net worth niche.... I guess I have some homework to do....

You hit the nail on the head. I’m getting around 10k users per month, but only 25% of the traffic is from the US and 65% are 18-34. That’s why my EPMV is just $5. I thought my niche was finance because my blog explains corporate finance and financial markets concepts, but I’m starting to see it’s actually education. What do you suggest I do? I’ve tried to affiliate for Coursera with no success. I feel like I just wasted the last 8 months of my life.

What about if you intend starting a blog site on a tourist destination city outside the US but aimed predominantly at US site visitors? What would the earning potential look like? How would you approach monetizing such a website? The idea with the website is to write a blog about great things to do and see that are not promoted by the majority of tour guides, operators and travel websites. The intention would be to later start a tour guide business and link the blog site to the tour guide site. Would it be a good idea to create a mirror site that caters for site visitors from other countries and make the primary site exclusively for US visitors? Would this benefit monetizing at all?

Thanks so much Ricky. My blog is about marketing, but I think my mistake is because I don´t have a topical authority. I started my blog in 2016 and I used to talk about getting money as an affiliate, Pinterest Marketing, SEO and now about Copywriting because I wanted to attract clients for those areas, but now I think that I should narrow it. I just don´t know how exactly. I am now trying to bring more content about Pinterest (because I have a course of my own) and about Copy (because is new here and I want to sell those services too). What do you think about my strategy?

    • @DeadProful
      @DeadProful Год назад +2

Do you do marketing as a service or only write about it? If you're doing it yourself, then analyze each step that it takes to market on pinterest, detail a step-by-step guide and describe each, show examples (very important),suggest strategies, comparisons which strategies are better for diffrent content etc. You can even highlight how you learned about it yourself. Do some feedback analysis as well, ask your readers whats troubling them, what they would know. Building communities is also a key factor

Similar to my situation. I am working on donkey milk content in a way that I display nutrients in it, how they affect our body, immunity, endocrine system.... When I come for example to proteins, and I need to explain what is A1 casein, I also need to explain whey. How are they build. Speaking of, then I need to go in depth about peptides, dipeptides, which again leads me to particular aminos.. This is just a part of the story that needs to be covered when speaking about cow milk allergy. The other part is about different types of manifestation of this and other allergies. Like with skin issues like dermatitis, where you have seborea, atopic, psoryasis... It's crazy what I embarked myself into. But from my personal example, only when I understood how things work in my body (and mind), and tested and trialed so many foods, cleanses, fastings etc etc I was able to start living an allergy free life. When you say slow going... Im in this research ( without personal struggles of few decades), now sixth year.. My overall message to you is, just write what people need to know. Search engines will pick it up if people stay on your site, come back and share. and believe me, for truly original content with a human touch, there is always place. For sure today more than yesterday, and in the future even more because of AI, ghostwriters and other copy cats.. Keep ya head up and best of luck. Your site looks good btw.

I didn’t say it can’t. I said it won’t earn as much. But many people outside the US earn great incomes, including ad revenue.
Australia, Canada, and the UK earn pretty well too but advertisers pay more for US traffic.

Well for me my problem is my content attracts alot of visitors outside of the US, even though I'm focusing my search analysis on US keywords, like for this march I got 70k visitors from countries with very low EPMV, then 14k from the US, and that is making me have an EPMV of $1.5 overall.... I really hate that.

You guys have great content and your program looks great. Unfortunately, your inability or lack of interest in returning simple phone calls or emails is a poor initial impression I got after trying to learn more. I’m interested in your program from the standpoint of wanting to learn how to buy websites for the purpose of improving them etc. Seems to me you’re missing an opportunity here.

The trouble is, we get literally dozens of emails every day from people who want to partner with us or get us to sell their product. We try to get perspective customers to reach out via a contact form so it doesn’t get missed. But even that gets flooded with spam. We’re working on a better solution.
As for phone calls, we don’t publish a phone number on our site because we don’t have a dedicated phone support line. It just doesn’t make sense for this business.
Instead, we dedicate our time to responding to the needs of our members.
If you have a question though, feel free to ask it here. I’d be happy to help.

I’m not trying to sell you anything or looking for a partnership. I had asked what help could be provided for creating a website that utilizes Ai to help users with a particular solution. I thought my idea was different and didn’t want to use a public forum to evaluate it. You should have a process where you can give simple feedback/opinions to prospective users before someone shells out $$ only to find out this isn’t the right course. I understand you don’t want people using your tools, canceling, and asking for refunds. However, I don’t think some basic vetting/feedback takes that long. I should add this was in addition to wanting to use your instruction to learn how to find good websites for purchase. I know there's Flippa, etc., but since you also sell websites, I thought joining would be useful.

Right. My comment wasn’t insinuating that you were trying to sell us something. My point is that we get a ton of spam email and sometimes legit emails get filtered out with the spam.
I never saw your email and never received your call.
We’re working on a better solution to be able to respond to people’s questions about our services. I appreciate your feedback.
