    they seem expensive for what are basically flavoured wheat flour hard tack...

    • @pete_review
      @pete_review  2 года назад +1

      I think when you spread the cost over the next 20 years I am sure it would be almost nothing.
      Cheers mate

      Yeah. Actually good value if you value your time and consider shelf life.

  • @natmad
    @natmad 2 года назад +1

    So. One thing I don't understand. How do they ensure 20 year shelf life? I mean the palm oil, sugar etc would make it go off eh? What am I missing?

    • @pete_review
      @pete_review  2 года назад +1

      Thanks for your comment, the packaging keeps the bars completely airtight, and the high fat and low moisture content keep the bars from going rancid.
      I am sure after 20 years they will nit look or taste the same, but you could eat them if you had to.
      Thanks for your comment.
      I suggest you contact the supplier if you want more detailed information.
      Cheers

    I first wondered why they were made in China, but then I remembered that the only survival bars I've ever had that tasted any good were also from China🤔

      Thanks viper thay weren't to bad, not nice enough to eat as a snack, but if you needed them to survive you could do worse.
      Cheers mate
