Really interesting to see this video as an alpha player, economy has changed significantly since spider queen crowns and blessed sticks and I remember when you had to get the spider weapons from just regular spiders since the boss hadn't even existed yet and when it did it was a 12 hourly boss. Back in the day Arachnid Armor wasn't actual made immediately along with the spider bow. Right around when it was just released those items would be costing you 200-300s, which was 4 or 6 spider dungeons. I remember buying Genuine Spider bow from our lord and savoir VoidBunny, the first person to ever obtain a gold tier item from a use of cursed scrolls. Costed me 900s and I still have the bow On a hunter account i don't play anymore.
To be accurate, here are some things you got wrong: - Tax trade came in december in 2019, while Yeti came in May of 2019. Tax trade did not come out with Yeti. - Icicles never sold higher than 300s, then dipped to 200s only because of the orb, after its removal it dipped to 50 - 150s. - Yeti boots were 150s at the time, they fluxuated around that mark but its generally stayed the same. - You forgot to mention the Orb, which was a HUGE money sink at the time, it upgraded your items for silver. - Also forgot to mention Terror of the Deep which inflated the economy drastically at the time, letting people get up to 40 gold. - Nates drips are entirely different from Berezaa's drips. Bers: 1 stamina, Nates: 2. You should probably spend a bit more time looking into your topics, but other than that it was a good watch.
I've been planning to make a video about the gorgog guardian, and with how you forgot to mention the inflation of materials for it in the video, I feel like now I got to push it out.
Very impressive I knew a ton of what happened in beta but not in alpha so I ended up finding it funny that 100s used to be a lot. Edit: you forgot the hobo nerf
Ahh.. when gold was worth something.. now we have people that have platinum also moglo/mogloko mask are equal worth,1 being worth more than the other was made just to get more money lol,since you'd spend stats both on str and dex you'd still lose 1 of them Anyways I wonder if the current attempted economy fix will work
