Yes We Mystic - Echo/Window/Shadow (Live from Home)

We wrote and recorded Echo/Window/Shadow for our album Ten Seated Figures, but it got cut right before the record went to pressing. We've always had a soft spot for the song, but it had faded from our memory over the past few years. This week, however, Echo/Window/Shadow came back onto our radar - the murky paranoia of the lyrics have taken on a new life in our current moment, feeling strangely prescient to what's going on in the world. The thunderous proclamation that ends the song especially seems timely, stating that the problems we've been trying to ignore cannot be outrun. Adam hastily reassembled his studio in what was until recently his dining room, and recorded this live version quickly and with urgency in one uninterrupted take.
