Thank you! I've been a beginner for a long time and this kind of instruction really helps me. Thank you for sharing.

Matt - thanks for this video.. This should help a lot of folks move their presets to the cloud versions ;-)

Thanks for this Matt. I always tell folk on my workshops to use the second tab in LR Classic Preferences to locate the presets folder!

Thank you, Matt. It’s good to have this video as a reference. But there is one thing that so far nobody could answer: I often have the use of a certain LR Profile as part of the preset. Yes, often these are YOUR Profiles. 😉. Will Lightroom recognize this during the shown sync-workflow (even though you only handled presets, not profiles) and fetch & copy these Profiles as well? If not, how can we achieve the migration of profiles?

Hi Andreas. I'm not sure but it would be easy enough to try out right? Just sync your preset + profile, and give it a try to see. You'd be able to look through the settings after you apply to see if it worked. Let us know what happens. Thx.

@@MattKloskowski Thanks, Matt. Unfortunately I haven't even installed the Lightroom "Web Desktop" app. My thoughts were that this tutorial showed me a reason why I would install it. Right now it's not at the top of my priority list. But I will try it eventually. Thanks again.

Hi Andreas - I guess I would say the ability to use presets in LR Mobile isn't a reason to use it (at least not for most people). I don't think anyone installs it because they realize a preset works in it. I think you use it because workflow on the tablet/phone makes sense for what you want to do. Just my take for what it's worth. If you do install and try it out let us know. Thanks!

@@MattKloskowski Absolutely, Matt! It’s the Lightroom "Web Desktop" app that I haven’t used yet. I’ve been using Lightroom Mobile on the iPhone and iPad for several years, but mostly when I’m on vacation. And there I sometimes wished I had access to my comprehensive set of presets. The thing is, as soon as I’m back from vacation, I have access to my desktop computer again and the urge to get my presets to my mobile devices subsides. 😊
