Would be extremely helpful if, as per the actual rules, you placed check marks, status effects, dazed tokens by the corresponding character. Not just good for the viewer of your batrep, but proper for you and your opponent to keep track
We are working to put a tracker on the screen for status effects and other information but we are not a giant fan of the tokens on the board. It just seems to cluster up the board for us. We keep them on the cards.

Yes you are right. Cover is one of those mechanics that we need to sticky note to our forehead. We forget about it far too often.
