Antifuchs im Interview: „Die Debatte ums Gendern ist aktueller denn je“

Wir sprachen mit Antifuchs über die Entwicklung des HipHops: Inwiefern spiegelt das Genre noch immer die Gesellschaft wieder? Und ist die Auseinandersetzung mit Kultur ein Muss, um sich selbst als Rapper:in betiteln zu dürfen? Soziale Medien verhelfen den HipHop-Künstler:innen zu mehr Unabhängigkeit von Labels und geben die Möglichkeit, selbst Werke promoten zu können, doch ist das tatsächlich ein Segen oder eher ein Fluch für Musikschaffende?
Die Rapperin mit der Fuchsmaske erklärte uns ihre Sichtweise und wie sie persönlich eine Balance zwischen der Aufopferung und Hingabe für Fans findet. Dabei sprachen Antifuchs und unsere ME-Autorin Christin Rodrigues über ihr Album FEMINEM, die dadurch eingeleitete Selbstfindungsphase und welche Songs die Rapperin am unliebsten performt.

We spoke to Antifuchs about the development of hip hop: To what extent does the genre still reflect society? And is engaging with culture a must in order to be able to call yourself a rapper? Social media helps hip-hop artists to become more independent from labels and gives them the opportunity to promote their own work, but is this really a blessing or a curse for music creators?
The rapper with the fox mask explained her point of view and how she personally finds a balance between sacrifice and dedication to fans. Antifuchs and our ME author Christin Rodrigues talked about her album FEMINEM, the self-discovery phase it initiated and which songs the rapper dislikes performing the most.
