Luke has been singing this song in concerts for several years. she has not played in public in almost 20 years. she is very shy. This was a song that brought the country together for awhile last Sunday night. Simply beautiful. it was a perfect performance. She called the shots on how it was sung and Luke…who adores her and always has..sang as he was directed by Tracy. Her beautiful beautiful smile lit us all and we want to be better people.

God blessed us with this treat of a performance ❤times are changing for the better and this was such a treat. Tracy changed my childhood. She's not on social media and rarely gives interviews so this, was truly a gift. Only part of the Grammys that I watched. Celine too. ❤ 90s icons coming out is always 🔥
And no, you can't switch up a classic like Fast car. It elevated an entire generation. No need for added harmony boo ❤

I simply loved the performance!! Bring tears to my eyes everytime I watch it!! Having hard times is not exclusive to rappers talking about how it was for them growing up!! If you've ever took a trip and seen all of these rural homes, with massive amount of land!! Go into the little towns to get gas, most of the buildings are vacant!! My question is, whose funding these little towns??!!

Fantastic duet of the song. They really need to make album together. Like yesterday. It will fly off the shelves.

LoL 😊 C'mon Buddy, would you really throw a trill in, if you were harmonizing with the singer of a song that you've loved all of your life?
Luke wasn't gonna do anything that might outshine her, particularly, when they were harmonizing.
He's the one up for the grammy, right? Well, LoL You wouldn't have known it!
He definitely showed his respect and love, by making Tracie the spotlight, instead of himself.💕
He followed her every lead like a puppy, or a smitten schoolboy, and everyone else can see that he is thrilled to be singing this song with her. As most of the rest of us are. I think, anyway.

When I was in Choral in high school, I sang Tenor/Alto, In fact I still sing Handel's Messiah in tenor,. Tracy was my range and I belted out this song in 88!!

She started singing in coffee houses and was a one woman show. This was her first and breakout song.

I disagree. The chorus as is, is so iconic and memorable - I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole. Have loved this song since it came out and I bought the CD.

Who are you to judge people performing at the Grammys?
