YT Music recently suggested this song to me and it resonated heavily. It was a great reminder that I have spent the last 13 years changing who I am for the approval and benefit of other people. I was in a serious relationship for 12 years until she got addicted to a mobile game, joined a German guild and then started funneling 400k+ to her new boyfriend. She then proceeded to have me pay for an elective surgery and a trip to Germany so she could ultimately move there full-time. Fast forward to a rekindled friendship that was going well until she too had serious health problems. Even though I knew it would probably be a horrible idea for our relationship, I felt like it would be better for her to get the health care and support she needed. Each time this happened in the past 2 years I put my entire life on hold, paid for everything, loved unconditionally, and took all the mental mind games, passive aggressive bullshit, and ungrateful bitchyness. I'm done. I'm going to be me and if you don't like it. Don't follow me. EZ.
Lesson learned, be yourself, because people fucking suck.
i found this band like 2 years ago cuz *Leave it all behind* was on the recommended videos, and lemme say that was one of the few times RUclips not only didnt mess with rcommendations but also made me a huge favor, i couldn't stop listening to it.

I was taking a trip down my darker songs and this showed up as a recommendation to listen to. I was shocked, but it's really good!!! After opening it, I then proceeded to listen to it for the entire hour walking the beach on repeat...
