Dear Lizzy, I don't know if you know it, but Temu uses some practices (in selling and in producing) that are everything else but okay. I completely understand that one can find nice and very cheap thing there, but it comes at a very high cost especially for the people who work for Temu. Here in Germany many investigative RUclipsrs like Alicia Joe and others have made really good videos about this topic. 💛
Apparently, the BBB is investigation TEMU. Claims that personal information is being shared and illegal activities are occurring with your information.
@nancymarcanoortiz2072 Yes, one can only warn not to use it. 🙏 Especially because no one guarantees that these products are safe to use (and do not cause health issues) and no one guarantees that they are not produced by forced workers (yes, forced work exists in some regions in China)... If something is too cheap one should always ask: Who is really paying the price? Am I the product, because they can sell my data to make money? Or are the workers paying the price because they are extremely overworked and underpaid or not paid at all? Or is the environment paying the price? Or maybe all three of us??? The sister-company of Temu, Pinduoduo, got their app suspended by Google because of malware-issues... So one can only ask all the influencers to decline every offer by Temu - and Temu promises BIG MONEY. A very popular German influencer got an offer of an four-digit amout of money if she would just do a positive Temu-haul. It is really insane. They want to decieve people to become a trap to their friends and followers. And that is really sad. 🙏💛
