I know this is a "melodic death metal" band but.. I'm absolutely mindblown by their use of different time signatures. Their rhythm really is what makes them so damn awesome in my book.
I met him in St. Louis during the Fiction tour, my second time seeing them since the Damage Done tour, and YES he is a VERY nice guy. He signed my freshly purchased shirt as well as my wife's. And stayed to talk to us for 10-15 minutes. By far the nicest guy I've ever met in metal. Amazing too, because DT is my absolute favorite band.
i love bands that actually perform. mikael always puts on a show, the emotion he displays is incredible. he is one of my favorite lyricists, a true intellectual. DT

When they played on metaltown this summer he and the band was seen headbanging on concerts in the middle of the crowd too.. These guys will never be "too big" for their fans/other people.
at Kiriff.......When they played here in Canada they came out after the show and talked with all the ppl who stayed. And before the show Mikale and I talked for like an Hr about everything and his time here and his musical influences. The nicest guy`s ever, never too big.
