      @Elanarco Capitalista Maybe Lead guitar. I play guitar and drums and I know how hard it is just to play the shuffle he's playing without singing, it's not a normal shuffle. Ringo isn't like Levon Helm who knows how to hide any screw ups either, he's playing a shuffle at the correct timing for three minutes straight while singing (again, his shuffle isn't easy on its own).

      That’s not off key though. He mostly hits every note just right. You can hear some mistakes at some points, but nothing too noticeable, if you give him the charity of considering he’s also playing a rather challenging shuffle on top of it and with the knowledge that there was no pitch correction at the time. Like honestly, in terms of vocals? Yeah they weren’t INSANELY awesome, but they all did their job well. And the songs were ALL bops. You can’t say that for every band around. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    I said it before and it's worth repeating. The Beatles are not the greatest band in the world. They are the only band in the world because they revolutionized everything we know as Rock-'n'-roll.

      As Ringo, himself, has always said, he was at a disadvantage, 'cos he was a left-handed drummer, playing a right-handed drum-kit- (which'd definitely explain some of his strange, and at times, ever-so slightly off rhythms!) o.o

    • @CockneyRebel1979
      @CockneyRebel1979 7 лет назад +1

      I don't think factories what made musical-instruments really catered for left-handed players in them days, 'cos back then, being left-handed weren't a recognized thing or one what was widely accepted for some unknown reason. o.o

      Ringo has a good voice but he lacks the range of the other members. He seemed unable to reach the high tones. In "Lady Madona" Paul fills in the high notes for him, for example. In spite of these limitations Ringo had some really great songs.
