Dear people that complain that WMMT5DX+ is bumper car racing, please this game is made to be unrealistically fun if you hate the game its fine, you might prefer realistic racing game like gran turismo or asseto corsa please just let us who enjoy the game we want to play it with peace. no, this is not how you suppose to play, mostly chinese people play crash racing. This is a battle of 4, how many can you block? only 1 at a time. That's why it's not a very strategic way to win. Instead of improving other skills, they decided to play dirty and call this unrealistically fun. what bs.

Well I don't hate it. I love it. I seldom go to the arcade and play WMMT5DX+. There is a lot of fun to bump and race. There are arcade games like this in Singapore. Yes, I was born and I live there.

The WMMT series are arcade games, brake blocking will always be a part of the game whether you like it or not.
I played against a few guys from the biggest WMMT teams in Indonesia (like the one Steven is in) and while they are much faster than me on time trials, they still brake block since it is basically how you defend your position. Dirty, but perfectly legal.
If you don't like how these guys play, then you should just play sim racing like Asseto Corsa, Gran Turismo, Project Cars, or Forza.

Hey thanks for upload , but i feel sad to see this comment section. People seem try to compare this game to more realistic gaming race game. First of all diffrent game mean diffrent mechanic means that dont compare this arcade game to things like grand tourismo or ForzaHorizon. This game have their own mechanism and totally diffrent to realistic racing games.

WMMT player nowadays more like playing crush gear instead of racing. Just WMMT player from WMMT 2 passes by, when players still do clean racing instead of block each other and crush them to the wall

Hi late comment, but noticed that Steven isn't blocking as aggressively as in the other videos I've seen. Were there specific blocking or wheel slamming rules for the competition?
Blocking is perfectly fine. If anything, it’s a necessary skill to learn in VS battles because you’re gonna keep losing your position if you don’t defend.
Cause two people behind him it’s clearly a 2v2 he just needs to keep Leong and srt behind to keep skp running no need to do crazy aggressive blocking

The one who hands the trophy is actually the coder in the dev team, OCM ghost datas (the default baselines) are mostly done by him.
Blocking is his game that's why he won the championship dirty player.

So they could see the opponents behind them and block them off. It's a common strat used to prevent the opponent from getting past you.
Dang, they do it do fast I don’t have time to see anything before they toggle back. I think I’ll stick to being a casual player but sick to see how far along the meta is!
Yup it's pretty sick to watch them do it but it can be done rather easily too with practice, you just need to know where the opponent's car is for a split second and you'll be able to predict the car's movement!
As far as the meta goes it seems that it's pretty much the same for years now, using cars to block each other with the camera strat, been a while since I last played though haha it's a great casual game once you've reached near max HP.

Love the cars, simple and project car build. But the driving style, blocking and ramming to the other side is really unprofessional.

This is the way the game is played throughout the world now, amongst the best of players. The game was built to be played this way. In Gran Turismo ramming people is unprofessional, but in Wangan, the better you are at securing your position using running and blocking techniques, the more "professional" you are.

Why do C1 is the one and the only track for racing. Why don't they use Yokohane, Osaka, Yokohama, Hakone, etc.?
C1 is the most used tracked but it's kinda boring. Better used Ikebukuro track or Hakone its more challenging.

No. The 700HP settings is a balanced settings. If you go 830, its hard to control because less grip

Because Evo IX and R32 are the most popular all-rounded cars in the game. There are few other good ones like the RX-7, RX-8, R34, Evo VIII, etc.. but the Evo IX and R32 are the meta.

Played this game once in Malaysia, just a casual game, going against 2 Malaysians whom i not know. They just straight up crash their cars into me at every turnings when I was drifting through because they dont know how to use the brake or drift. Sad to say.. still won them anyways lol

I used to play this game, in my experience, I observed that the car feels heavy like it gain weight because of the aero set but my friends who used to play this told me that it doesn't affect the car

I don't understand something, why do they focus so much on trying to block overtakes and in turn messing up their own lines? Is there a "catch up" feature in this game hence no matter how good you race you'll still be over taken?

There is a catch-up mechanic in game (all players must step on brake to disable), but I'm not sure if they disabled it here.
