U know that piercing the wire is a big NO NO the wire will start to corrode and you will get false reading.....BTW the sensor is a OXYGEN sensor if the oxyegen sensor is reading a rich condition it means that there is allot of OXYGEN content in the exhaust. You can do all that with a scan tool by monitoring the O2 pid. JM@2C
remember via a scan tool data is not raw but processed, ECU reports rather than sensor. I scope. these were good 2010 but you had to seal the pin holes with a non acidic sealant or make up pins to back probe gently. Still have one for training techs and the odd use on easy to reach older vehicles.
Can you test down stream sensor as well
@altonamud can't do response test with a scan tool. Need a scope for that one.
hi altonamud
by the way , rich condition means no oxygen or low level of oxygen in exhaust.
need to know why , let me know
excellent tool
connect to which wires? I have a 4 wire o2 sensor audi a2
die zwei gleichfarbigen Kabel sind für die Lambdaheizung.
Can I test Air/fuel type oxygen sensors with this tool?
how do connect from st05 to oxygen sendor on 92 mb w140 4 wires ...thks
i like the tool

Talk about a waste of money! Anybody that's trying to diagnose a bad O2 should have a capable scanner, and be able to read O2 PIDs.
You are right I dont know how acurate is this test. With a good scan toll you can see live the data and diagnose it ..

That's to much to be hooked up
what a load of bollocks obd scanner can scan the pids waste of money
