I had open heart surgery on 9/12. I was in the VA hospital for two weeks, then transferred to a rehab center. Very suddenly I was being given massive amounts of potassium and being told that my kidneys were failing (even though I was peeing a normal amount and I don't drink/smoke or engage in other high risk activities). Then the VA kidney clinic was urgently trying to contact me. I checked out of the rehab center AMA (against medical advice) fearing some Tijuana wake up in a ice bathtub ripoff without kidneys. I am done with the VA. I am home and doing great-feeling better each day. Moral of the story-do not trust lab techs, double check. By the way, potassium overdose WILL cause kidney problems.

I’m so with you on lights being warm & dim! Plus, it’s so much healthier for your circadian rhythm!
I love sitting on exercise balls too when I’m at my desk-it makes it so much more fun!
I’m so glad all is going okay! ❤

Oh Rachel! I am astonished that your reaction to your medical notes wrongy saying that you were a high risk pregnancy was only thankful. Yes, I would have been very thankful but I would have also been FURIOUS that they made that mistake and put you through all that unnecessay worry!!!! I would have screamed my face off at them. The last thing you need as an expectant mother is a giant load of stress!
When I was pregnant, I was driving to work and an old man rear-ended into my car at a red light, claiming he didn't see that the light was red. I got very stressed about driving and my dad drove me to and from work every day after that, saving me that worry for the sake of the baby. Please be careful not to get too upset. ♡
Your pink exercise ball looks like a bubble gum bubble, cute and I am glad it helps you.
You are doing great and I wish you all the best. This is not scientific, but I think you should eat any weird thing you are craving. The baby wants something in that food that she needs, and that is her way of telling you.
