Your art is so cool unique and pretty. I love pink too. You have so much talent. I’ve tried to play around with your style and I can’t do it well, that’s for sure. I just paint for my enjoyment.

You can try the Turner AcrylGouache in the Lumi (Neon) colors. The colors are opaque and matte. The sizes may be smaller.

Heck yess a long video ❤❤
I’ve really been loving Nova Colors neons. And their titanium white 16 oz jar is $11 but then I got it even cheaper because the paints were 10% off if I spent $80
I love mixing neon yellow with white! 🤤🤤
Also I’m very excited about your monthly Art subscription coming up and your live streams! We can paint together 😁

Glad you enjoyed! Excited you're excited! Can't wait to share!
I hope I can try Nova one day... Sadly it really doesn't make sense to buy paint I use in bulk from the other side of the worlds :(
Thanks for sharing though! Yup, need to do some more neon mixing!

I’m very excited for the subscription and the live stream. Great video, I’ve got two of those Art Talens sketchbooks in my cart, they are so affordable. I’m very interested in your sketchbook journey, how your use of sketchbooks is evolving, because I am exploring how to create a meaningful sketchbook practice for myself. As always I love seeing your art. Thanks for the video!

Thanks Page! Completely understand the sketchbook issues! I feel like it is an element I want to incorporate into my life, getting more comfortable sketching outside my little bubble/room.
I guess a part of it is just sketching more often, through the awkward stage... I joined the local urban sketchers for a bit and it didn't really work for me... I guess I need to be on my own or with good friends to feel comfortable.
Thank you for your support, all updates coming VERY soon!!

Hullo Irit, Rigger or Script brushes were originally from the pinstripe artist painters! I have used them with watercolor painting for many years. You really need to get the paint consistency right for them to work well. Lucas acrylics are available from Jerry’s Artarama here in the USA, they import them from Germany. I have been very happy with all of the paints I have gotten from Lucas, I got a bunch for doing some acrylic pouring paintings, they tint very well and you can mix pastel colors so easily! Thank you for sharing another wonderful video with us!

Thanks for the info! Glad Lukas is also easy to find in the US, it's a great brand! So interesting about the rigger brushes! Some days I really wish I had a wider knowledge base when it comes to art history. Any quick recommendations for some good books? Nothing too heavy ;) Take care!

@@iritlandgraf I am not a great recommender, I love them ALL! I will say go to your library and do some flip throughs. I had the Janson text book in college but if your local library is empty do a simple search online and buy used! I say look for artists you want to know more about. I know you will find plenty!

IRIT? I am wondering what you are doing to protect your artworks? I was recently contacted by a former client who had me paint a mural on their van. It was StarWars inspired and before he sold the van he cut the side off! He contacted me about how to mount it for indoor display. I was amazed at how well it has held up! This is a painting from 1983 and I used clearcoat an automotive paint to protect your car’s paint color! I have often used a UV spray from Krylon to protect my art on paper, I have found it lasts pretty well. Like most things it truly depends on how the art is stored or mounted and where it is hung! Oh, I did fix a wood frame for the side of this van mural and it hangs in his “man cave” yeah it is the Death Star. You paint whatever the client wants when you are painting to pay the bills!

    • @iritlandgraf
      @iritlandgraf  5 месяцев назад +1

Thanks for sharing! I apply varnish to acrylic paintings, watercolor paintings or other works on paper are framed behind glass. I guess I follow industry standards :) Haha love the man cave death star situation. I got my partner a canvas of winter is coming for his man cave ;) My artwork is not really man cave stuff lol. Thanks again for sharing, sounds really cool!

I remember the daler-rowney system 3 fluorescent pink being very very bright, so unless they have changed it in the last few years, that brand should be pretty bright😀
can NEVER have too much neon!! (80s kid here lol)😝
