Most requested cover of this album by far. This is essentially a Tremonti track with Myles on backing vocals which is awesome. I was hoping they'd do something like this. In the past when Mark would take over lead vocals, it still sounded very much like AB but this one sounds like a total homage to his solo stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a leftover track from A Dying Machine because it'd fit right in on that album. Fingerpicked intro? Check. Heavy ass main riff? Check. Muse-esque verses? Check. Anthemic chorus? Check. Melodic bridge? Check. Shred-tastic solo? Check. This songs got everything you'd expect out of Mark. One of my top 3 favorite songs off this album easily.
I definitely want to do Walking On The Sky and Clear Horizon off this album as well at the very least.

It's written specifically for walk the sky (Mark said). But does sound like his solo stuff though.
@@trfmusic902 Clear Horizon is pretty easy, I just learned it in like 30 minutes. Haven't really learned much of the title track yet but so far Forever Falling is easily the most involved song I've come across. I spent a good 3 hours on it altogether which is way more time than I spend on most videos. The solo is going to be the hardest thing with the title track.

Love it! I always thought this sounded like it would fit seamlessly on Tremonti's a dying machine album. Not just because tremonti's on vocals but you can usually hear that difference between Mark's AB and Tremonti writing style, but this one sounds like it could've easily been on a dying machine, where Water's Rising still sounds more like AB than Tremonti's solo stuff. Your thoughts?

Sounds like a Dust bside, to me Mark wrote many licks such as "Unable to See" that sound very similar to this track.

It really needs to be played in C# Standard in order to sound right, especially the fingerpicked parts with all the open notes which you only have in C# Standard tuning.
