Yeah, that's definitely the first game I've seen them play solid football from a quality opponent (I think Bengals are better than their record). I was expecting them to make unnecessary mistakes and fumbles, but I was surprised that they held it together from start to finish. They just gotta keep it going.
When they finally *Run the ball no matter what, run from under center, then play action from under center*. This team can average 35+ a game with the roster they have let alone Hurts. Looks like either Hurts has become comfortable enough to finally take those steps or Nick finally allowed Kellen to call pretty much the entire game.

As a bengals fan, gg Eagles. Hurts looked amazing, and honestly I’m glad he proved the haters wrong. The Eagles in general have been playing great, and could go for a deep playoff run. As for the Bengals, we actually played well … until the 4th quarter. It kinda just seems like we stopped trying, and I’m pretty disappointed. There is always a next week, but we have to get our act together. 3-5 is not a good record, but hopefully we learn from our mistakes. 🧡🖤

The sad truth is that the Bengals Super Bowl window has closed. The best chance to win a championship was 2021-24. Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are playing their final games together. Defense needs to be rebuilt and coaching staff evaluated. Wasted season in 2024.

One team (Philly) seems to have gotten their season back on track. The other team (Bengals) is now again stuck in a hole that's at least two games deep (maybe three if Pittsburgh wins on Monday night). I know the Bengals have been able to bounce back from slow starts before, but with how bad their defense has played I think they're already too far behind in the playoff race to even get a wild card spot this year. Realistically, I don't think they can hope for better than to end this season above .500 now...
