🔗 CHAPTER 1: THE PREPARATION: • Chapter 1: The Prepara...
Feeling unhappy and stagnant, I took a drastic step to change my life: I bought an RV and moved into it full-time. This chapter captures my journey from the initial decision to the day I drove away from my house. Topics covered include selecting the right RV, personalizing it through insulation, confronting my fears of driving it, and envisioning the life ahead. This is where my adventure begins.
In these videos, you'll see the actual process of preparing the RV for full-time living-from insulation to organization-and hear my thoughts and concerns as I approach the big move. This series is not just about physical preparation but also mental readiness for a life on the road.
Join me from the very beginning, as I take the first steps into a new, nomadic lifestyle. It's a detailed look at the excitement and uncertainty that come with drastically changing one’s life direction.

🔗 CHAPTER 2: THE TRANSITION: • Chapter 2: The Transition
Transitioning from a house to an RV wasn't just about a change of scenery, but a profound shift in lifestyle. Over six weeks, I lived in various campgrounds, adapting to my new environment. This period was challenging due to withdrawal symptoms from a medication, impacting both my mental and physical health. These videos document the struggles and triumphs, offering insights for anyone facing similar challenges. Watch as I navigate through this tumultuous phase to establish a new normal.
Each episode in this playlist delves into the everyday realities of adjusting to RV life-from learning to manage space and resources, to coping with the physical and emotional challenges of a significant lifestyle change. I share the highs and lows, the setbacks and victories, painting a comprehensive picture of the transition.
This chapter is for anyone who's ever considered a big life change or faced hurdles in pursuit of a dream. It's about overcoming obstacles and finding your footing in a new world.

🔗 CHAPTER 3: THE PAUSE: • Chapter 3: The Pause
During this phase of my journey, I set down temporary roots at a CoE campground for up to ninety days. I'll move around to different campsites due to availability, focus on the day-to-day tasks of living in an RV, plan the next leg of my journey (a 2,000 mile pilgrimage to Nevada to do some stargazing), and focus on improving my RUclips channels in the hope it will lead to at least some level of revenue to help me continue funding my new lifestyle.
While I may not be traveling in my RV during this time, I'll still need to manage my storage tanks and propane, do some maintenance to the RV, and settle into a routine so that my life has a sense of normalcy amidst the nomadic nature of living in a motorhome.
I call this phase "The Pause" because I've gone through both the preparation and the transition periods of RV life and now I'm taking a break to get more comfortable with the lifestyle, assess my progress, and set new goals.

🔗 CHAPTER 4: THE PILGRIMAGE: Coming Soon!
Looking ahead, join me as I embark on "The Pilgrimage" - a 2,000-mile trek to Nevada for some of the best stargazing in the country. This next chapter will not only explore the physical journey across diverse landscapes but also delve into introspective thoughts under the stars, contemplating life’s bigger questions.
Each chapter offers a unique perspective on the various stages of embracing and mastering life on the road. From preparation to pilgrimage, my journey is about more than just places; it’s about personal evolution and discovery.

Those "little plastic things" lol are hollow wall anchors. Since it looks like you screwed into wood, you didn't need them. If the screw "bites" and 'pulls" itself into the material and is solid, it's probably good. When in doubt, there is a video on everything. RUclips has millions of tutorials covering every conceivable thing you could ever need to do. The trick is that you don't screw into a wire or water line in the wall. As a rule, I wouldn't be putting screws anywhere you're not sure about what's behind there. And use screws that will only penetrate the material and not protrude out the other side.

Hell, I didn't even think to search yt for something like that! I didn't like that I had to screw into that but I really felt like the curtains were a necessity. I needed to block off that cab area for privacy too. I did think about wires and such. Was fairly confident there weren't any but honestly couldn't be sure. 😅
