Well said. I visited Tokyo and Kyoto in 2018 and I was impressed beyond words. They have retained their culture while being efficient and effective with everything they do. It goes to show you that you do not have to change your identity to fit in with the rest of the world. I love Japan!
Just discovered you on RUclips. Love these walking videos. I love the fact that you don't narrate, too. Just hearing the night sounds, the people, the traffic, its like I'm there. Great concept. More more more!
yup, it's great if you want to sketch from live but feel uncomfortable walking around with sketchbook - many young artists have this issue (don't know why but it's the fact) so this should help them out nicely :) Also helps me to get some nice references too
Got back from Japan about three months ago and we spent a lot of time in Asakusa. Just evenings that seemed to go on and on, swinging baseball bats at the cages at Rox Dome, eating sushi at Mamire while the chef explained everything to us. Absolutely amazing part of the world, one of the best places I’ve ever been. Thank you for uploading this.
All of you guys are wrong, If you had travelled to Japan before you will notice, Staring at other people is considered impolite , Its a part of a japanese culture
Thank you so much for sharing this amazing footage, I definitely want to visit Tokyo someday! Japan is definitely on my bucket list to visit,... amazingly clean, functional, an organized city and the people seems extremely polite and courteous to add.
Two thumbs up!! Again great strolling video and like a typical walk turning to look in the store, briefly slowing down. Hearing the chatter the smells the food shops and diversity of people.
I walked around the same streets last April. It was a lot more crowded, but everyone was respectful of each other and cooperates. It's so clean and safe. You just feel so free there, you can go anywhere.
That's because you don't think of it as exercise anymore but rather a pleasure. That's what it was like for me when I lived in France. I've been totally blind since birth, and I learned how to get around with a little help at first from friends and/or family. After that, I explored a lot and always tried to find other ways to get around. Before I got my Guide Dogs, I used the cane, but now, I'm back to using the cane, because I can't work anymore, and I don't get to go out everyday to different places. It's really a dangerous place to be now, and I'd really like to explore other parts of this world, because I'd like to live out my Golden Years in a much safer area where walking is the norm, and where I'd feel safe traveling all around. I really miss it.
Yeh, I think the same ... i used to watch World Tour from Egawauemon channel then Nippon wandering and now Rambalac . But i found this this channel walking videos a little better than other 2 .
Once again, thank you for these beautiful videos. I haven't been to Japan for almost 25 years, and with the exception of better looking advertisements and displays - it looks just the way I remember it. I also notice there are a lot more Gaijin walking the streets than there were 25 years ago. The video quality is so good, I wanted to stop by that shop and pick up a yukata.
Thank you for your sharing to upload a bunch of videos! It really makes immerse my self when I'm watching your video. Your hard work to record these videos is appreciated !
Thank you for this video. Last year I got lost and exited the wrong station exit at asakusa station but I watched your video before hand on the train (I had no internet on my phone yet) so I knew where to go to get to my holiday (near the donki) . Your video saved my holiday. Better than google maps! Thank you very much!!!!
I went to Tokyo in Jan/Feb this year and I miss every minute of it. Your videos make me feel like I'm reliving it again. I hope I can go again really soon once the pandemic is over.
I want to thank you for your video clips , They show me a lovely, tidy and clean country without the mobile phone obsession that I see in my country . Thank You again
i have seen the whole one hour video. Its so nice. Thanks for sharing. I feel I am roaming around the Tokyo street by sitting on your shoulder. I never visited japan. But it makes me feel I am there. thanks for your nice video.
Just go ahead and plan it! My friends and I just decided to look for when we wanted to go and then accommodation and then booked a place in tokyo. With a yr and half to spare for savings so we were more determined to make it happen. Now I have 5 months ^^ put it off for 4yrs. And now my bucket list will be 1 less XD But yes. Not too sure about cost wise. Always 7-11 ^^
I really appreciate these videos, because I want to go to Japan so much, I'm begging the Lord pretty much to go. These videos are SO amazing for me. I love them.
When we visited Japan, this is one of the areas we stayed in at an Airbnb, unfortunately the weather wasn't kind enough to allow us to view the whole of the Skytree as for the most part it was covered with low level clouds. I still enjoyed our time there and it was fun watching you walk through the areas that we also went too. Thank you for sharing.
First of all, thank you for this vid. I know it was an all day thing but, the results were so fantastic! I felt like I was actually there and could touch and feel things. This was absolutly amazing! The best!
Fantastic camerawork! So smooth, not jerky. Thanks for not feeling you have to walk & talk either. I lived in Tokyo years ago, still consider it my other home, thank you so much for these walk through videos. Just outstanding!!
Actually that's just gimbal work. My camerawork is quite careless, mostly because I'm lazy. Fortunately double stabilization with gimbal and in camera help. I'm just walking around and pointing camera though sometimes I forget the second.
The best walking video ever. Stable, beautiful shots, simple and captures the real sound and images of the moment. You should be a film director, just a suggestion :)
Thank you so much for this, even more thanks for the 4k! This just shows how beautiful and interesting the country is, even at the mundane level to me!
The thing that makes me sad when I watch this was that I came here to buy Japanese souvenirs for my friends one week before I had to return to the US. I miss Japan.
I can't say how much I appreciate your videos man... I mean, if compared to other video walks, your quality is just... awesome! The camera is at good height. I like how you avoid people's faces naturally like it's nothing (not like other videos which really kills the focus) and the way you view/focus on interesting things like an actual tourist/local would do.. and most importantly, the lens. I don't know how you did it man, but it did not feel cramped. I mean if I view it full screen I actually felt like walking with my both eyes (because you can see almost everything from left to right, it's wide) if you know what i mean (sorry am no videographer, don't know how to tell it but yeah that's it). I don't mind the shakiness, the stabilizer did a good job! it's better to be flexible than static like a robot. Just do what you do best man, i bet you most of us are just fine with the way you record things, thank you Rambalac.
Why is 0.06 on this video already more aesthetically pleasing than anything I've ever seen in the west. I don't just want to visit. I want to live there with all that aesthetic beauty. I don't care if I'm called a dirty gaijin. I'm obsessed with Japan's aesthetic sense and I can't help it. I am no longer satisfied with just the dream of visiting someday. Something so temporary is just sad. Give me a 10 year pass to live there or something, then maybe I'll be satisfied after 10 years of exploring and viewing the beautiful environments both natural and man made. And yes I am a WEEB. But not in the "I wanna be born japanese" sense. But more of I am incredibly drawn to the aesthetic planning of their country on top of its natural beauty. At the end of the day, its simply a lot prettier to look at than living in some gangsta rap U.S. city where nobody cares about anything or anybody but themselves.
Arrigato Gozaimasu and thank you for making these videos! They are both relaxing and bring back great memories of my past visits. Such a beautiful people and country!
You know, it's funny. I was watching an older halloween one and I noticed the same girls in a costume like 7 times and I thought about how strange it is that you can go all around a big city and run into the same group so often. It's strange to me because in that video, one street corner had more people in it than my entire city yet you could still find the same people (you only notice it in this case because they have halloween costumes that are specific etc but yeah)

although ive done this walk a few times in the past im still drawn to watch your videos for purely nostalgic reasons ;) thanks for making the effort rambalac
The camera height is perfect. I love 4k because its so close to being there visually but low cameras break immersion. This height takes it to the next level since this is where I am compared to most of the world ha
I find it amazing how Japan can be so technologically advanced but still be incredibly in touch with their history and culture
Vai Corinthians maior clube do Brasil
Very well put! This is exactly my thoughts with regard to Japan. Merging technology and tradition seamlessly.
Well said. I visited Tokyo and Kyoto in 2018 and I was impressed beyond words. They have retained their culture while being efficient and effective with everything they do. It goes to show you that you do not have to change your identity to fit in with the rest of the world. I love Japan!
Yeah and very clean too
@@WalkRideFly His name was W. Edwards Deming., Look it up, he is the reason Japan is was it is today.
Wow, nightfall comes really sudden in Japan. 39:46
It's not only the Land of the Rising Sun, it's the land of the quickly dropping Sun.
Sun fell in water
only haters would say its fake ^^
I am amazed at the cleanliness of the streets and the smooth&level pavements. Great Japanese Culture!!! Love from Iran!!! Peace to all.
What a beautifully traditional, clean and civilised place. Japanese people must be proud and protective of their unique home.
Its called a homogeneous society, mass immigration destroys a country and its culture.
Just discovered you on RUclips. Love these walking videos. I love the fact that you don't narrate, too. Just hearing the night sounds, the people, the traffic, its like I'm there. Great concept. More more more!

Same feeling to me, no narrative, no music, but you can find your necessity

Strikes me that it's mostly the tourists that notice/stare at you filming, while the locals don't even seem to care or notice.
it's because the tourists are probably feeling anxious being out of place. Anxious people tend to stare/look at others a lot
its because japanese people are used to excesive camara use... and for them its normal. I am not joking by the way. hugs
I noticed the same. I guess they are more aware because they are in a unfamiliar place. The locals are on autopilot.
What locals?
All of you guys are wrong, If you had travelled to Japan before you will notice, Staring at other people is considered impolite , Its a part of a japanese culture
what makes your videos absolutely superb , apart from the high quality, is that you just film exactly how it is ...I love it !!
I agree Phil, it's such a pleasure to slow down with no music or comment.
yup, you said it ! ;)))
Japan is so fascinating and rich in culture, that eventually you will find yourself standing on a bridge, staring @ .........water.
A lovely evening. The crowd is so well-behaved and peaceful . . . I would feel totally at ease there.
Che bellissimi mercatini e negozietti. Bel video come sempre. Bellissima la parte serale alla fine.
