This reminds me of one of the scariest moments of my life. I was a nightguard at a local pool during 2007. This was before cell phones mostly. After I locked up the pool and was walking home in the snow when I realized I was being followed. I began to walk faster and tried to lose whoever this was, and I couldn't. Eventually I sprinted to my house and slammed the door shut it felt like just in time. That's when the clanging started. I screamed for my parents but they were rolling around outside because tehy thought I was at work. They wrestled in high school basically and never stopped. I was on my own. Luckily I had a LG Chocolate it had a setting to simulate police lights. I bought a siren ring tone, turned on the police lights, then lobbed the phone out of my window upstairs like a grenade. I was desperate but also laughing at my parents out back having fun. Long story short, whatever (or whatever) this thing was ran off. I quit the job the next day and never nightguarded again. Good reminder to always run home if you have the option.
