Cissy - Steam Traction Engine Restoration 8mm Cine Film From 1968

A very rusty Cissy is recovered from her resting place, and towed along Norfolk roads by a beautiful Showman's Engine, Black Prince, before being restored to her former glory at Bressingham Gardens. The project was overseen by Alan Bloom, proprietor of Bressingham Gardens and filmed by James Price.

Amazing how, with advancing years, it's possible to appreciate machines that are over a hundred years old and are still going strong and look great......best not to mention the carbon footprint !

Carbon footprint is not much as most of the pollution comes down in large particulates, therefore it is nowhere near as harmful to the human body as the micro-particles which are released by modern vehicles.

Sadly, Alan Bloom died in 2005. He was 98.
