Case 1070 and 1175 have a 451bd. The 1175 engine is called a 451bdt because its turbo charged same engine just bigger wrist pins and pump is hotter. I put a turbo on my 1070 off of a case 2670 . Runs awesome
Beautiful!!! Love seeing the old iron resurrected. ? for ya. I've got a jd2750 that won't start when hot. Just cranks and cranks. It's like no fuel. Think maybe it's expansion in/of the injector pump? Almost 11k hrs.
@@GavinLinderGG77 starts great. Seems to crank slower hot. Have hooked charger up with it on start and doesn't help. Wait 45-60 mins and usually goes. Haven't messed w anything. I only know enough to make it worse. It's got almost 11k hrs.
@@GavinLinderGG77 runs fine. No comp test. My mechanic is kinda stumped. Have to call him when it happens I guess Shut it off or stall it, forget it. I can do anything w it no problem. Bale, grind feed, 💩 spreader, plant... Have noticed when it's hot out too, it will surge a little bit for a second or 2 then right back. Speaking of grind feed, I should go start a batch anyway. Don't need it til morning feeding
It looks like the batteries exploded from a combination of old batteries being left on the highest jump start setting of a battery recharger for too long and it overheated the batteries which boiled out away the water / liquid . Make sure to check fluid level in batteries before changing and check for overheated batteries when using a battery charger . Don't leave them on the charger unattended for long periods of time .
@@GavinLinderGG77 in that case look for loose wires or a piece of rusted metal that could have broken loose & connected the negative and positive battery post or a bad ignition / key switch maybe a bad starter solenoid with loose wires inside . I'd really hate to see a nice antique tractor like that go up in flames because of electrical problems .
What a great tractor CASE made. Straight 8 speed and turboed 451. That tractor will last another 50 years.
Clutch fixing to start crying the blues

Really awesome! What a beast. That 451 is a new animal now. 🎉
How many hours on that old boy? If a lot, should you maybe drop the pan and take a look at some bearings after you pulled it a time or two?

Does it stay running? And Have u tested compression ?

Getting plenty of fuel...lol!

The charger wasn’t on them when they exploded and one of them was a year old. But ya it was probably something we did 😂
