Small ones are somewhat common, maybe a few a year, but almost never do any damage and do not typically last long. This was upgraded to an EF3 which is very rare in central ohio. We will get one that size roughly every few decades in the entire state so no, not really. Last major one we had bigger then this was almost a hundred years ago.
This is just the beginning. Already in the coming years, stronger calamities will start happening much more often. Mega hurricanes and tornadoes, abnormal floods, eruptions of super volcanoes, more powerful and more frequent earthquakes will begin to occur. I am way more afraid of my own government than I am of any climate disasters! Let alone the governments around the world. This video was 20 miles from me. Yes all the sirens were going off. I am ok with mother earth taking me if God dems it. I am not ok with mankind ( war ) taking it!

We live ab 25 mins from there in a tinnny town called Raymond and we definitely had some tornados come tru here aswell . Sounds like mutiple across the whole state. Indian lake got it so bad tho 😔
I think they are more susceptible to wiped out by tornado due it's weak foundation. House can be level down by tornado though just the effect is less severe comparing to trailer parks..
Just for you to know when there is bad weather ryan hall y'all does live tornado warning on RUclips. He is very accurate and God has used him to save countless number of lives. My prayers are with this community.
I am 65 years old and have spent many of different times in my life either living in a trailer park or knowing people and visiting them at their trailer park and what I've noticed and I noticed this years ago I know this is 30 years ago that tornadoes for some reason always hit trailer parks why is that😮
I think trailer parks probably are the most devastated during a tornado event and are a very dense form of destruction so it gets the most news coverage which makes more money.
Newer not called mobile homes but manufactured homes stronger . The single wide mobile homes not as strong not required and may not be anchored down good enough . Even if was the roof on older mobile homes frequently blew off because not required to secure in tornado area . Don’t think any scientific reason tornados hit mobile home parks more often?
I'm obviously saddened by the loses so many people experienced here. The other, more insidious side of the damage is all of the man-made materials carried off and deposited in the water. Prior to the creation of these materials, the only things ending up in waterways were wholly organic in nature. Imagine all the fiberglass insulation, solvents and chemicals that were deposited in an instant. In a perfect world there would be people in charge of cleaning the waterways in tandem with those cleaning up the land.
What else are those heavy wreckers going to do???? Do you think you can build a new house with a wrecker?? Did you not stop to think that maybe now is a good time to get it out of the way??? And the distributor probably hired those wreckers to recover it. Why are you bitching about it in the first place???
