I understand he really worked to get to the standard,I have been playing 50yrs,so really understand why drums are you have to go through stages. Thank you Gregg for a great show in Manchester .It was a great tribute to the late Buddy. As drummers we love music thats the most important. Great skilled drumming Gregg thank you so much.
Gregg is a very good drummer , who has had years of drum tuition, by the sounds of it. Buddy never had lessons , was self taught , couldn’t read music, yet was the greatest drummer that ever lived. Just plain gifted.
love Gregg's reference to Buddy playing at a high school in Nebraska. I saw Buddy play at Gibbon high school in Nebraska in Fall of 1986 (about 6 months before Buddy passed)
Great interview, Dom is the man! Some very kool stories, and may Miss Cathy and Gregg help to keep the legacy of "Uncle Buddy" as I've affectionately called him for many years, alive and kickin'....... Thanks and Blessings!
Dom, great session! It's fun to listen to Gregg's story. I can identify with that "a-ha" moment when I first heard Buddy. I love his passion and playing, keeping the spirit of Buddy's music alive. Btw, I have a 64 Roger powertone with a Frank's drum shop sticker on it! Keep up the great interviews!

Great interview! Gregg wears his success well.
Always give recognition to the drum teachers who helped you become professional. It’s just respect for your musical elders.

I met Potter when he was a teenager playing in local cover bands. Cool guy and he had chops back then too.
Would like to see Gregg play Slingerlands, for old time Buddy’s sake. 🥁
Let's pray for Dom. Word is he has a major health challenge.
Thank you Andrew!

Not a fan of his drumming (big shoes to fill anyway), but he's very articulate and pleasant to listen to talk.
How Gregg gets around the drums so fast, shows that he has also worked a lot.
