Hello, Beautiful, The joke about the name of the Chinese dry cleaners is that, at least in America, pretty much EVERY Chinese restaurant or other business has the most AWFUL English language names and phrases on their advertising and in their menus. These improper "translations", although they might sound good in Chinese, are absolutely RIDICULOUS when someone reads them in English. And they ALWAYS include things like "Super Number One Happy Sunshine Deal", or something equally amusing. So the writers at Family Guy are just having some fun by poking at these particular types of foibles. I hope this helps! J

Wish more people had your approach to jokes these days. When a comedian says something offensive, at the end of the day they really are just trying to make you laugh. It’s not meant to be taken seriously. That’s why it’s called a joke.
The Chinese joke is about how Google translate is bad at translating from Chinese to English, so things that are translated from Chinese almost always sound weird in English.
I like your attitude towards jokes. Too many people get all upset about "edgy" jokes and ruin the fun for everyone. Must be exhausting to have no sense of humour!
There was a Japanese guy on youtube who was reacting to Asian stereotypes on Family Guy and you could see he was visibly offended. It killed the fun for everyone.

So he decided to react to Asian stereotypes in Family Guy. I think he probably thought that Family Guy just picks on Asians and leave out other groups of people. If so he really needs to watch Family Guy and realize they pick on everyone and no one is spared. It really wasn't an issue of Seth MacFarlane picking on any one group. Its just the nature of the comedy he makes to make jokes that are funny but may make people a little uncomfortable.

i don't get offended i'm a mellow person. honestly you have a great personality. also i can't pick a favorite character i like a lot them. people that get offended i think needs to grow a funny bone because people like me laugh at dark humor stuff family guy has some dark humor but its funny.
Getting offended is a 'you' problem. Obviously there are limits to this but nowadays everyone is offended by something and 99.9% of the time the person who's offended is the problem.
Hello Irina! Hmmm... I usually have a good sense of humor and can handle racial jokes. But growing up Hispanic & Catholic in a little town in Nebraska, I did run into racism once in awhile. Even here in Dallas I've run into it. If you have never been targeted by racism, it's hard to understand how upset it can make you feel.
