Making a clipstick / cheatstick for sport climbing V1.1

- DIY clipstick / cheatstick build using everyday bits and bobs. The head is made from 18mm ply, the little white tubes are from a section of John Guest 15mm water pipe and the spring to hold the gate of the biner open is from a bike spoke. The head is then attached to a decorator's pole.
It's a fairly straightforward job to make one of these though bending the spoke in just the right places is quite tricky. This took me a couple of tries (and a couple of spokes!) to get it so that it worked reliably on the different types and brands of quickdraws I've got.
I'm confident it'll work well but hasn't yet been field tested. Will probably post a short follow up vid of it in use when I next get out sport cragging.
Finally made one for myself... Tested only in house conditions but works fine....
Thank you
Habe gleiche, nur mit Bambus und Röhrchen zum Verbinden.
Kann sogar mit dem klettern und in der Mitte der Tour nutzen.

that seems like an awful lot of effort to go to to clip that biner at the end. Looks like you could've reached it? ;)
stickclip is the actual term
Thanks for clearing this up Craig Derek ;)
Maybe where you are but I've always called it a clip-stick and that's generally the term I've heard other folk using both in the UK and abroad.
