DHC 1 - Oliveo 1 a football match for the 2nd class amateur soccer competition

This seemed like a good moment for Oliveo to truly contend at the top of this young league. But DHC 1 had something to say as well. In fact, DHC might have been slightly better than the Oliveo team. DHC 1 had approximately 60% ball possession. Eventually, the referee had to award three penalties, two for Oliveo and one for DHC, but hesitated to whistle for the spot-kicks. Nevertheless, he blew the whistle sufficiently throughout the rest of the match. It wasn't the referee's fault; in the end, it resulted in a goalless draw. A fair result considering the entire football match.
DHC had more control over the game, but Oliveo's defense and goalkeeper performed excellently. DHC also had a strong defense and goalkeeper, as well as a good midfield. #football #Delft #soccer
Next week, Oliveo 2 and 1 will play at home in front of their own supporters against HBSS. HBSS has just been promoted from the 3rd to the 2nd division.
