- New York City's watchdog agency has launched an investigation into allegations that the city's police department improperly used its official social media accounts to target public officials and private citizens.

So the mayor thinks it's okay for the nypd to start a war? If going into Hamilton Hall is part of their job that's fine. Inciting hatred of city council members who question them is not part of their job. It is reactionary, malicious and gratuitous. It's the city council's job to oversee local law enforcement.

Looked up this congresswoman & this is what’s on her official campaign page .. this is wild ..
“Defund, and ultimately disband, the NYPD and replace it with a community-led public safety infrastructure

Yeap but when something happens to a family member of one her supporter they will say nypd is racist.smdh they voted for this beech

One of my biggest questions is whether they actually have planned out what that "infrastructure" would be and, if so, how come they never tell us precisely what it means?
These people are control freaks, they would be worse than the police and would truly decide who they wanted to protect. There would be so much discrimination and persecution involved.

I don’t like when police post things w political leanings and opinions bc that’s the disadvantage of being in such a profession but I doubt most New Yorkers disagree with what was actually said. So it’s a nuanced issue imo.
Some people really trying to hype this and turn into something it wasn’t and rewrite history it’s really messed up and hope it won’t change police back to being as*holes.
