It's great to be out there! Sometimes the roads get overgrown and taken over. I'll need to do some maintenance on that road if I want to keep using it. It good to get out and walk these roads. I enjoyed it😁
It is really fun having the Jeep😁 It'll go a heck of a lot of places. I'm sure it would go even more that I'm just not brave enough to tackle😂 Once I got out and started walking it, it was quite closed in and difficult too. It was good to get out there and enjoy it😀 It as a good little hike!
This takes BC Stripes to a whole different level 😂. Thank you for taking us in a crazy bushwacking drive. Determination always pays of👍. Good thing the tip of the antenna is red, though. All the best, Michelle and Holger 🙏
It's lucky I know this trail, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to make it! Some places I could not see and had to go based on my memory😁 I'm going to need to get in there and do some trail clearing so I can keep using that one. I should probably rent a hedge trimmer or something😄 Yeah, I've got some pinstriping, but it is in the clearcoat so I could get it buffed out if needed. I try to avoid deep scratches. It does scuff up the windshield though and that kind of bothers me. I bought the Jeep to get out on the dirt roads and explore, so it's doing it's job😊 Yeah, I'm happy the tip of the antenna wasn't green😂
Yeah, sometimes you have to drive with a hope and a prayer😁 I'll need to get in there with the saw and start cutting back the bushes otherwise that road is going to be taken over. It was a fun ride😀
It was certainly an adventure😁 The more I do things like this the more I get used to doing it. I try to avoid anything that is going to do major damage. I'll need to revisit that place and bring out the saw and clear away a lot of the branches in the way so I can see better😀
I remember you having to bush wack with the jeep last year! It's nice to be on an unexpected trail, well, especially if you are lost in the woods. Which, of course, you were not 😊
I was probably bushwhacking on this same trail! It's getting more and more closed in. I'll need to do some major work in there to clear those branches and trees out of the way. I'm thinking they may be up there logging the area soon too so I'm not sure if the effort would be worth it😁
I wonder could you attach a bell x1 with it tail facing forward , light it up and attempt mach 2.7 all the while just plowing forward . Just burn your way through . Well done stating on the trail . The world needs more of this sort of thing
That would probably help😁 It helps that I've done this trail before...when you could see it...so I was able to drive by partial sight and memory. I also had my fingers crossed😂
Cool video Age! I hope it was as much fun for You as it was for us watching you're fight with nature 😁😁 Im glad you got the antena back 👍🏻 And survived the jungle "road" Thanks for taking us along for that ride, it sure was something different! 😁😎
It was great fun to be there driving🚙 Nature has made a claim on the road and I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to drive that road. I'll need to do some more trail maintenance on it if that is to happen. It's always an adventure😁
It was a fun ride too😁 Yeah, it is probably classified as trailblazing too😄 That is the tip for a CB Antenna. It's getting harder and harder to find suppliers for that stuff in Canada, even on Amazon sometimes. I'll need to be more careful when I'm out there bashing through branches.
Es un coche bien duro ese Jeep. ¡¡Cielo santo, por donde lo metiste!! Enhorabuena por encontrar esa pieza que perdiste, parecía que la ibas a perder. ;) Un saludo Age´s!
Yes, they are pretty rugged🚙 It takes me to where I want to go out on the trail😁 I was happy to the find the piece of the CB Antenna. It's not too expensive, but it is sometimes hard to get it shipped into Canada. So it saved me the hassle😀 I hope that you are having an awesome weekend😊
This doesn’t even look like a trail anymore. You’re just driving through the woods. I’d hate to imagine how tough it would be if you broke down way out there. For as far as you walked back looking for that antenna, you probably could have parked and walked to where you needed to go. I’m glad you finally found it. 👍20
Yeah, it's getting reclaimed by nature now. I may be able to clear it for another season or two, but then I think the trees and brush are going to win the battle😁 When I tell people I'm driving through the woods, they image a nicely maintained road, lol😄 There is a more road to go on that trail. It needs to be maintained more. Then there is a spot further up that I like to get out and hike in there. It was certainly a good way to get some exercise out there😁
The Jeep gets a little scuffed up on the outside, but it is only the clear coating so it's not too bad. I try to avoid deep scratches in the Jeep. That stuff could buff out if I want to make it pretty. Since I'll be getting branches sliding across the Jeep again, it'll stay looking pinstriped😁 I was happy I found the Antenna Tip! It could have been knocked off anywhere. I was luck it landed i the middle of the trail😀 It was a fun drive, but I really do prefer to see the road when I'm driving out there😊
I was really happy to find the antenna tip! It's for the CB Radio. It's difficult to get supply up to Canada for these things for some reason. So it can be hit or miss finding a seller. I enjoy taking the Jeep out to explore the older dirt roads. It usually means a lot of branches and stuff in the way. I need to do some trail maintenance there if I want to go there much longer. So far nothing this year for grouse. They must be all hiding! I hope you're having a great weekend, Jim😁
Yep, my Jeep was purchased so it could take me out on the trails and exploring. This is just superficial stuff. It could get buffed out it I wanted to do that. I'm not going to do that because I'll be back out there again😁 I'm not into dents or deep scratches though. I think I can explore and have fun without doing serious damage to the Jeep. If I win the lottery, then maybe my attitude would change😂
It's certainly getting reclaimed by nature. I wonder how much longer I'll be able to travel it... The Jeep survived, lol😁 Just some superficial scuffs in the clearcoat that could be buffed out if needed. Since I'll likely have branches touching the sides of the Jeep again, I won't do any buffing😀 I do not want any deep scratches so I try to avoid that! I was happy and surprised to find the antenna tip! I was starting to lose hope. It's a CB Antenna and the tip is needed for on top of it. Had I had to replace it, it would be a search for a seller that had it in stock and would ship it to Canada. CB has been on the decline in Canada for a number of years because most people have switched over to VHF radios. The US still uses CB quite a lot. I hope you're having a great weekend, Daryl😊
That trail got thick. Back to trail maintenance. Darn it the emergency brake. Holy crap it was so thick you couldn't even tell where you were at. Breaking trail on this one. You put the paint through hell on this run. It sounded like you got one hell of a workout as well.
It was scuffs to the clearcoat. It could buff out if needed😁 Yeah, this trail needs a lot of maintenance. I may do it. We'll see. I did get a good workout. I was motoring up the hill not thinking about slowing down. I made some good time up there😄I was focused on finding the antenna tip. Thankfully, the emergency brake is now fixed!
Yeah, I was worried that it was going to be a lost cause. I'm glad I looked for it😁 I also got to practice some French along the way😀 It was pretty closed in with all those alder trees. I was trying to be on alert for any wild animals that may decide to pop by and take a look at what I was doing.
It really was! I'm not sure if it was easier to see in the Jeep or on foot😁 I'll make sure to get my lucky lottery ticket🎟🎟 It's an interesting way to explore places out there when you have to guess if there is a road😂
Probably the first down there this year. It's crazy how quickly nature will try and reclaim a road! I'll need to get back there and do some cutting and trimming so that it is passable again😁
The Jeep has a lot of scuffs on it, but they are all in the clear coating so it could be buffed out if needed. I am on the trails enough that it is expected to run into something like this. I really work to try and avoid deep scratches. Those would be a problem. It's fun to drive through there😁
Thanks😁 Yeah, it's quite the fun to take the Jeep in these places. I was a bit nervous about going off the road though. It was difficult to see and sometimes I was just going on memory😄 Then to get out and hike it was fun too! I'll need to do some sawing of branches in there to make it passable for the future.
Driving a car like your looks like a lot of fun! What is the Chinese necklace sign stand for that you wear? Have a great day Age, thanks for the video 🖖😎
There are a lot of scuffs on the Jeep, but it is in the clearcoat and could be buffed out. No deep scratches, which I really try to avoid. It's all part of wanting to explore these places😄 Grouse is like breast meat on the chicken. It has a different wild profile to the taste due to the different diet. It's good to eat😋 People say gamey. I would say that grass-fed lamb tastes gamey too, so if you've had that, you'd know what gamey is. We're all just used to grain fed animals now.
I certainly feel like a Trailblazer sometimes😁 The Jeep has lots of pinstriping on it. Luckily it is just clear coat and something fixable, if I wanted to do that. I'll be back in the brush again so I'll hold off on that😀 This is a CB Antenna that the tip came off. It's a Firestik II. They can be a little pricey, but the main problem is getting stock available in Canada. The tips an be a cheap as $15, if you can find it. I'm guessing the stock is not as available in Canada because a lot of people have gone away from CB here and use VHF instead.
It's a lot of superficial scuffs to the clearcoat. I try to avoid stuff that could really dig in and cause more damage. Sometimes you don't have a choice out there and just have to go for it😁 The Jeep is covered in dirt and mud a lot of the year so it's not noticeable then😄
Nothing deep😁 Just scuffing of the clearcoat. It does scuff up the windshield though and that is bothersome. That's what you get when you go offroad though, so it's all part of the package for going out and exploring cool places😀 I need a hedge trimmer or something for in there!
howdy age! we have a silky gomboy we love. is this battery noise after you took the jeep in for all that work? jeep took a bit of a beating this trip. mama e gave it a branch spanking. 🤭 (does it have a name?) are you a big hunter? your joy when you found your antennae piece was palpable. have a great week age! 🛴❤
Silky makes great saws! I'm happy with my BIGBOY 2000. Yes, the battery noise is after I got a bunch of work done. The battery was dying. This was the second of that type of battery for me. The first one died 4 years 6 months into its life and it was covered under a 5 year warranty so I got a brand new one then...this replacement one was just over 5 years old. I got my money's worth😁 They're expensive though. I bought a new one and it cost $310. It's an AGM battery. Yes, the beating with branches is called switching😄 The Jeep certainly got that! As for hunting, I try to get out as much as possible from September - December. I hunt deer and grouse. I'd like to get into ducks and geese, but I'm not sure where to find them here where I can hunt them without dogs or a boat. I'm still learning to hunt. This is my 6th season, I think. The deer out in the forest here are really elusive. Not like the city deer that will almost let you pet them, lol😂 I was pretty happy to find the antenna tip. To get a replacement would mean $$ and finding a seller that would deliver it to Canada. It's for a CB Radio and CB isn't as popular in Canada as it used to be. That means getting product can sometimes be a wait.

Fantastic to be out and about in the great outdoors. Plenty of fresh air on that one!
It's great to be out there! Sometimes the roads get overgrown and taken over. I'll need to do some maintenance on that road if I want to keep using it.
It good to get out and walk these roads. I enjoyed it😁
Having a jeep looks so much fun. I'm amazed what it can go through! The bushwhacking part outside the jeep looked like quite an adventure.
It is really fun having the Jeep😁 It'll go a heck of a lot of places. I'm sure it would go even more that I'm just not brave enough to tackle😂

Yeah, sometimes you have to drive with a hope and a prayer😁
I'll need to get in there with the saw and start cutting back the bushes otherwise that road is going to be taken over.
It was a fun ride😀
You drive very comfortably through these strong branches😂
Place looks a bit wild, definitely adventurous 👌👌
It was certainly an adventure😁 The more I do things like this the more I get used to doing it.

Yes, it was an exciting adventure in there😁
That's overlanding😀 and overtreeing😂
Nice video, nature thrives ❤👍
Nature really does thrive out there!
I enjoy it out there😁
Wow,that was one wild ride my friend! Glad you found that tip. That was more trailblazing than bushwhacking, lol.
It was a fun ride too😁 Yeah, it is probably classified as trailblazing too😄

I started writing this when you started walking 🚶🏻 and said goodbye antenna tip 😂tabarnac oops excuse me French and there it was
Yeah, I was worried that it was going to be a lost cause. I'm glad I looked for it😁
I also got to practice some French along the way😀
It was pretty closed in with all those alder trees. I was trying to be on alert for any wild animals that may decide to pop by and take a look at what I was doing.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend 😊
Thank you😁 I hope that you have an awesome weekend as well😀
That was extreme bushwhacking. Now go play the lottery after finding that tip
It really was! I'm not sure if it was easier to see in the Jeep or on foot😁
I'll make sure to get my lucky lottery ticket🎟🎟
It's an interesting way to explore places out there when you have to guess if there is a road😂
Looks like you're the first guy down that road in a while.
Probably the first down there this year. It's crazy how quickly nature will try and reclaim a road!
I'll need to get back there and do some cutting and trimming so that it is passable again😁
Nice nature images.
Thank you😁
It was a fun trip through the bush😄
Very nice day
It was a great day to be out in the Jeep exploring😁
Blimey Age. You must have had to have the jeep resprayed after that. 🤣
The Jeep has a lot of scuffs on it, but they are all in the clear coating so it could be buffed out if needed. I am on the trails enough that it is expected to run into something like this.

It is really fun to drive the Jeep in there😁
It's a zodiac necklace.
I hope you're having a great week😄
Great one
Thank you😁
It was a fun trip in the Jeep😄
Looks like yourvthe first one down there for a while Age
Probably since last fall when I drove it last, lol😂
I'll need to head back there and do some maintenance on the trail!
We can . .
Barely😁
Let's be honest, how many scratches are on that jeep from those branches 😅 lol. How is grouse to eat? Never had it.
There are a lot of scuffs on the Jeep, but it is in the clearcoat and could be buffed out. No deep scratches, which I really try to avoid.
It's all part of wanting to explore these places😄

@agesadventures true, ill have to try it some day ! It's good that their is no deep scratches on the jeep 😀
It would have been funny if there had been a NO PARKING ANYTIME sign and you had gotten ticketed
I'll make sure to look for signs in the future so that I don't have to worry about the parking enforcement coming😁
I will start calling you Trailblazer. That Jeep is broke in now. When I had my Jeep I found the antennas to be very reasonable on Amazon
I certainly feel like a Trailblazer sometimes😁
The Jeep has lots of pinstriping on it. Luckily it is just clear coat and something fixable, if I wanted to do that. I'll be back in the brush again so I'll hold off on that😀

It was quite the adventure out there that day😀
I think you must’ve got a lot of scratches on your car! 😬
It's a lot of superficial scuffs to the clearcoat. I try to avoid stuff that could really dig in and cause more damage.
Sometimes you don't have a choice out there and just have to go for it😁
The Jeep is covered in dirt and mud a lot of the year so it's not noticeable then😄
I bet ya didn't get one scratch
Nothing deep😁 Just scuffing of the clearcoat.
It does scuff up the windshield though and that is bothersome.
That's what you get when you go offroad though, so it's all part of the package for going out and exploring cool places😀
I need a hedge trimmer or something for in there!
My car would 100% not survive this 😂 but I guess that’s the difference between a Fiat 500 and a jeep 😅
Well, I certainly would not want to try taking a Fiat 500 up there😁
It was a fun trip through the bushes🚙
