It turns white when you cook it. To catch them and other species of rock fish that are blue is not that rare in Alaska

I saw your video on how to breed crayfish for profit....this is the comment i left in case you didn't get the notification...please understand that im only concerned for the animals when reading the quoted text...
"A message for the poster of the video:
Hmph. Breeders who sell for profit should be condemned to hell. Its nothing but torture on the animal because its constant breeding non stop. I wouldnt be surprised if people are too blinded by greed to even think for a moment of how animals feel with being bred constantly.
Im disgusted that this even came up in my shorts
However i have an open mind and I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and ask a few questions instead of going full blown anger. Id like a video response. Not a reply in the comments because there is no tone in text and i dont want to missread your response.
    1. Are you breeding them without any care for how the animals feel or are you just forcing them to breed with each other nearly all the time and constantly right after the babies are born? Because I've seen and shut down a lot of criminal breeders who wont give a single care for how dogs and cats or any other animal feels and its sad and heartbreaking that people breed and sell a dog's pups constantly and put the animals in so much pain of seeing their child be taken away.
    2. I hope you're not abusing the animals by putting them in a small encloser where they cannot move around or where they are walking on top of each other. I've seen this all too much in stores that sell crayfish and it makes me sad every time i go to see them so that way they at least have someone to see and talk to before they die....i feel it in my heart that it gives them a little comfort before they go off into the afterlife from the horrible humans that catch them and cook them....
Final question: I hope that they are well fed and not starving to death. The animals that ive rescues from breeders.....they've been starved and only get enough food and water to keep them barely alive...."

god youre a idiot lmao. what if you just dont watch this or inform yourself on how to care and raise fish and crustations compared to dogs and cats thats not at all near the same thing. and how many breeders have you gone to and rescued the animals from? and aafter rescuing them did you keep them and take care of them for the month or two it takes to get reused to humans or did you just give them to a shelter that will just kill them or give them to the first family who has money? it seems to me as if you dont care about the animals themself but you only care about how "caring" for them will make you look as a person? you know nothing of this man and most of his hatchery and crawfish videos are showing off OTHER people projects if you had a brain and actually listened instead of crying over spilt milk. youve been getting ignored in every video you comment on because everyone sees through you and your bullshit attempted at being gratified and made to look like a hero. no one asked or cares about you or how good of a person you THINK you are. Maybe you should spend your time rescuing more animals and not commenting on a small youtube channel trying to make him look like a bad person while making you feel as if youre the most holy man on the earth. so shut the fuck up dont watch this channel and do something productive. is feeding my snake mice and rats going against how you feel? does nature make you uncomfortable? does me feeding my tarantulas crickets and worms upset you? with that line of thinking it should.

This is a comment is wild . Only reply that is warranted is: breeding crayfish is no where the same as breeding cats and dogs. And to add, there's nothing wrong buying from reputable breeders. The narrative of "all breeders are bad" is so outdated now.

This is why I dislike store-bought beef. It's too red and looks sad. Yes, beef is supposed to be red, but it's not supposed to be a vibrant red. It is very appealing to buy grazing land and rent it to cattle farmers for that reason. Part of their payment if not their entire payment would be in product instead of cash. Grandparents do that with their land and the payment is half a cow and a couple hundred dollars if I'm not mistaken.
