Beautifully played on a very fine-sounding harpsichord! Listening to this makes me wish that I was making instruments again....

Such a masterpiece. Always start Froberger at the top! Listen to as many interpretations of this gem as you can. In particular, search out Siegbert Rampe, stunning. And well done, you.

It is exactly what my mother said this morning!

Only your mother admires your musicianship more than I do.

I didn´t know Siegbert Rampe until half an hour ago. Am listening to his Georg Muffat recording now.
      Love it! *:D*

That’s very fine music given a marvelous reading on an astonishing instrument. I love his playing and his editions, but he is not without controversy among fellow scholars. Even so, he can eat a harpsichord.

    What is meantone temperament?

Simply, the meantone temperature is a tuning method mainly used in the 17th century. When you use meantone, you would listen to much more beautiful and interesting resolution because dominants sound messier and more strange.
