A human bone is as strong a concrete, but bones are thin. They break sometimes but you can make the grow bigger if you let them heal and stop every trauma/fight/training for a while when your legs are starting to hurt when you jump, you feel your own bones. Anyway, both in Muay Thai and and Kyokushin Karate we use bamboo, main difference is that the Thai guys are kicking bamboo when some weird karate schools just break dozens of bamboo sticks on their students legs. Now, Tony is not Thai nor Jap, we don't know if he human LOOK UP FOR THE VIDEO dude fucking kick WHOLE ASS THICK STEAL BARS and smashes his shins on TRACTOR TIRES. At this point, getting involved in car crashes might be part of Tony's routine, maybe his partners have to manslaughter the same guy every day before he gets up and just hangs himself to a roof and spine around to train his "coordination".

A lot of mixed martial artists condition their shins so the bones get micro fractures and calcify to become harder.
It’s very common in Muay Thai.
