    Hi Tim. Very helpful and clearly presented guideline. Half year ago I replaced by myself xenon bulbs on a A3 8V after watching you vid. Now it was a time for brake pads - piece of cake thanks to you. Best regards from Poland!

    Thanks for a great video! Never changed Brake pads before and the video was invaluable when changing them this morning. So far so good - warning light gone - car stops when I want it to and no strange noises. Thanks bud!

    Congratulations, excellent video. What brand of brake pads (front) do you recommend for a 2015 A3 8V 1.6 Diesel? (normal driving) Thank you

    need to do one chicks brakes on her a3 s line ... 08 plate..are the brakes the same? meaning the calipers are the same and will go back with these same tools your using ? trying to find out before I take the wheel off that I'd be able to do it ..I've got the tools just not one of them brakes winder tool thingy
    cool video through well explained thanks

      @TimWilliamsHD  6 лет назад

      Hi Mohammed,
      Not too sure, I don't recall the correct size as I never did complete the brakes on the 8p. All the fundamentals are the same just type of screw may differ. Take the wheel off and check so you know what calliper bolt it is, it could be an Allen key.

    I have a 2013 non s-line 8v sport hatch. I was wondering if all the 8v's have the sensor? My fronts, from what I can see, look thin. But I was wondering if my car even has brake pad monitoring ? As I noticed, the function was turned off in Carista.

      Hey buddy. There are no videos of anybody replacing the HID D3S bulbs with LEDs. Not even for other models. If u ever plan on replacing.. plz do a video of it. I would love that. All the conversion kits have fan built in and the A3 has a screw type cap on it, which prevents the heat escape.. So very confusing..

    • @TimWilliamsHD
      @TimWilliamsHD  7 лет назад

      I don't think i would...heard bad stuff about the LEDS also they could mess up the lens...

    Is the brake sensor cable just on the front brakes? I have a problem with the brake light coming on in wet weather and bumpy roads. I think it's a loose connection.
