a) They are both laughing about it so why have you taken it to heart? b) Bal clarified that she gives Eve options which then become options with the writer/director/producer. It is never a bonafide change c) Welcome to the world of acting. Actors change lines or their actions all the time, sometimes completely adlibbed to better fit the character or the mood of the scene. My favourite example of this is during the film "You Got Served" when one of the main protagonists performed a backflip completely off script during a dance routine which made the final cut.
Be grateful that they both care enough about the show and the storyline to even make suggestions, they could easily just read the lines they're given but they go the extra mile.
