I just cannot understand why this wonderful music is not more available; not more well known; and not more appreciated. It is the kind of music that is written and played by musicians at the highest level. Damn. It is extremely INTERESTING music -- I guess that makes it suspect to those lulled into collective stupor by much of the "popular" music these days.
It's been years already and i keep coming back for Shabba Lights. It has actually inclined me to pick up and learn to play a brass instrument. For a side-album, it strikes me how much i like it.
