I have not had the opportunity to use it, but after many reviews I can say that it is a very cool and successful system. It just makes me wonder if this type of system will kill the magic of Dart and the need for players to count which is very important in this game. Because of this steel dart might become a bit of an electronic dart 😥 which might not be quite so fascinating anymore. The biggest benefit of this device for me is that you can see where the darts are hitting in which hot or cold zones, which can make training easier. I myself would love to use this system for this.
Great points. It could make people lazier for counting but also it can help those who really struggle and give them more confidence. It’s a great bit of kit though!
Looking to add this to my board. I already pay for the subscription and hand key in my scores to play with others. This will make it a smoother process.
Well at 450 quid they can keep hold of it for now 👍 That's a bit much for a system and you've got subscription costs for darts counter aswell. I suppose its typical target, their darts are over 100 so any sophisticated equipment would cost 4x as much 😂
@dartshopper yes I know, I stated that. But you would think that paying that much for an item it would come with a free ultimate account with an activation code 🤷 But the item itself is very expensive, especially when you consider it against the elysian darts.
Should think so as it’s magnetically attached to the board and fits between the board and the surround. Maybe snug but should fit depending on how tight the surround is!
provided there is space between surround and board for the omni to attach it should work. the omni just slots in much like the corona light does but the legs are a little thicker.
thanks for showing this product great that you can play against everyone online who has such a system can you place this system on a mobile dart stand? kind regards
Im getting a light flickering problem on my omni juat now had it 2 weeks and its been perfect but now just a slight flicker of the light pretty anoying ive contact target to see what they say was ever since the update to dc it started doing this anyone else had this problem
I have this same issue and so do others in the Facebook dartscouner community. I have been asked to send my processor unit and psu back to them for a replacement.
I’ve had issues with ones I’ve used in the past where they can’t differentiate between well grouped darts, which is kinda the point of darts. If I have to keep track of my own score anyway in case I have to correct what the computer has calculated I do not see the point of this. Quite the opposite Part of darts is learning to count, subtract, multiply etc to get the checkout you want. If you have a system to do it for you, you’re going to be useless when you don’t have that system. I get that if you’re a casual player that may not bother you, but this is a big lot of spend for a casual player to lay out
Im having doubts, omni or scolia.. omni is cheaper.. on the scolia you can play tournements? How is that with the omni? Anyone who can take away my doubts?
I believe that dartscounter are updating to allow tournaments also. The scolia has been established longer so naturally has more features but if the omni is popular the team has the resources to develop and expand the product. I personally am really enjoying the solo play on the omni and it’s been really accurate for me!
Hi Guys! Does anyone else have the problem, that the Omni disconnects in irregular intervals. So when I turn it on, the Omni blinks green and then after a few mintues, it is static green. Also during a game, the Omni disconnected and connected again after 10 minutes. Is there a problem with my wifi?
@ get lots more miss reads on round the clock and unlike in a 501 game you can change a miss read by pressing the throw, entering the correct score and then removing your darts you cannot do this on round the clock. It doesn’t accept your amended score. I’ve sent them a couple of messages and they haven’t even had the courtesy to even acknowledge .
mine was shipped by Dartshopper this Monday. Can't await to hold it in hands!!!
Enjoy!

Would love to add one of these to my home setup! Wish the shipping to Canada didn't make it cost-prohibitive though.
Already on order!
Just copped one off you guys can’t wait
Enjoy!
I have had mine 3 week and i love it .. couple of miss scores but out of 60 online game i will take that
That’s not bad at all!

@@dartshopper and you should not forget Target aquired Dart Counter, so you technically paying for Target...
Can you use this with wispa system installed
Should think so as it’s magnetically attached to the board and fits between the board and the surround. Maybe snug but should fit depending on how tight the surround is!
Does this work with Winmau wispa? 😊

Yes shouldn’t be an issue it would be just like the corona light. As long as you can get power to the unit it should be fine!
@ thanks for the reply
thanks for the information
kind regards
Looks lovely but seemed to be difficult to assemble. Also the initial cost of £449 is very expensive. See how it catches on....

I’ve not encountered this yet so will see today if I have the same issue or not.

It’s not for everyone but it’s a great bit of kit and certainly something for the ultimate setup!
The system doesn't struggle with tightly grouped darts.
I’ve become much better at counting since getting a Scolia
Turn off checkout prompts
It’s brilliant regardless of talent

I’ve not encountered this. Are you able to get it closer to your WiFi router to test the connection?
@@dartshopper I don't think so. But I could try it with a Wifi amplifier.
Try and change a mis read while playing round the clock.
What happens? Maybe something to feedback to the target/dartscounter team?

You got one of those xfactor voices haha.
Haha 😝
subscription? Nope.
I thought the same but the yearly cost isn’t too bad.
