If anyone's curious, courtesy of the LOTHT wiki there were 32 Temple Run victories out of 120 episodes. Another 17 episodes had the team grab the artifact but fail to escape in time. Of the remaining 71 episodes, 14 were ended by the team being captured by three Temple Guards and the remaining 57 simply had the clock run out.

Fun fact: That extra half pendant is in there no matter what, I recall at least one episode where the final team had two and it was still hanging on a switch. Tying in the temple games always sucked, as then you'd go in with one pendant, meaning the guards could easily just end your run.
And if the artifact is in The Dark Forest, you know the run is going to end in a Triple Seizure. It always goes like this... Gold Mask is in The Crypt, Blue Mask is in The Tomb of the Headless King, and Black Mask is in The Quicksand Bog.

Much like Double Dare's Obstacle Music, I break down the progress of the players by the stanza that the music is currently in. Double Dare's has 12 of them in 60 seconds, so if you complete two obstacles every three stanzas (15 seconds), you're on pace to win. In Legends, the Temple Run theme has eight main stanzas (basically the same theme repeating over with a bit of variation on each, although stanzas 3, 5 and 8 sound pretty similar) plus the five-second coda at the end for that last-second ditch if a player is just a room away from escaping (or even just grabbing the Legend if they want something). At 2:15 remaining, the higher-pitched notes of the third stanza indicate that you better start to be making progress in terms of being well on your way. The shorter sixth stanza at the 1:07 mark is the first real hint that time is starting to run out for me as the opening notes to the seventh stanza at 0:50 are the same high-pitched notes used in that coda, and at that point, you better be within a room of the Legend to have a shot at an escape!
If I remember there was a very close call in the first season where it looked he wasn’t out of the temple when time expired but judges ruled he was and I believe that’s why the gate was added
@@darrendoyle568s why do I remember that episode? No wonder why they added the gate and yes that was super close. It could have gone either way. Those two kids were lucky to win the grand prize. 1 or 2 years later when a kid got injured exiting the actual Hidden Temple the parents of the two kids sued Nickelodeon despite winning the Space Camp Trip or whatever vacation trip they won. Why? Even wearing protective head gear shoulder pads and knee pads, all game shows said it is safe and do not try this at home. Unfortunately they didn't have an injury policy and Nickelodeon Game Shows lost everything. Not just Legends of The Hidden Temple, but Guts/Global Guts and many more.
Listening to this with ear buds whoever composed it clearly knows what they are doing ascending up and down octaves making it sound chaotic and adding in random fifths and sevenths

You could start by entering the temple through The Cave of Sighs and climbing down into the Pit of Despair. Turn the wheel to lift the stone slab and pass into the Throne Room. Sit upon the Throne of the Pretender, and a door will open taking you upstairs into The Room of Fallen Columns, or into the treacherous Holes of Python. If you escape, you may have a chance to enter the Tomb of the Ancient Kings. Find the key to unlock the doors to go upstairs, or plow through the wall and into the Well. Place yourself inside the bucket and rise up into the Room of Three Torches. Find the right torch to open the door to the Shrine of the Silver Monkey! Assemble the statue there, and you may be headed for the Treasury of Golden Orbs. Place the orbs on the correct platform, and a door will open leading you upstairs into the Observatory. Spin the celestial lights, then run across the Troubled Bridge. Next, pass through the Room of the Royal Gongs, race down the stairs and back to the Temple Gates.

She's gotta ride up into The Pirate's Cove, and she'll be just one room away from The Rusted Wedding Ring of Tom Sawyer, with only 35 seconds left on the clock! She's out, and she's going for the door! She's in The Shrine, _SHE'S GOT THE WEDDING RING!!! ALL THE DOORS ARE UNLOCKED, SHE'S JUST GOTTA ESCAPE NOW, WITH 30 SECONDS LEFT!!_ (cue the audience shouting "GO!! GO!! GO!! GO!!") Will she make out?! Will she be going to Busch Gardens?! She's gotta move!! She's only 20 seconds left!! She's in The Heart Room, and she's jumped down into The Pit of Despair! _OH, IT'S GONNA BE CLOSE!!_ (cue the audience countdown!) _10 SECONDS LEFT!!! SHE'S IN THE CAVE OF SIGHS!!! HERE SHE COMES!!! 5 SECONDS!!! GIVE ME THE WEDDING RING!!!_ (cue Victory!) _THEY DID IT!!! THEY DID IT!!! THEY GOT IT ALL!! THEY GOT THE CAMPING GEAR!!! THEY GOT THE VIDEO GAME!!! _*_THEY'RE GOING TO BUSCH GARDENS!!!_* Oh, they're wore out! And I'm wore out! We gotta go! So, join us next time for another great legend of the Hidden Temple! Bye bye!
@@redneon06 Actually no.
@@redneon06 True, but Moira Quirk wasn’t in Legends of the Hidden Temple and she never blew the whistle.
This will be perfect for today. The Pandemic ends at 11:59ET 5/12.
THIS IS A PERFECT SONG FOR THIS
When your girl is coming over and you haven’t cleaned your place.
Think you do a 4-minute version of this for the reboot on The CW?
When you’re running late for work, stuck in traffic...
I want to borrow this so badly, I have the best idea for the countdown to my streams and this is just what I need
Very useful if you're playing the board game version!
My favorite is Kirk Fogg "he's got the horseshoe!"
When you have only 3 minutes left to live.
Most intense 3 minutes of your life!
This brings me back to my childhood and makes me anxious at the same time
NO WAY!
YOU ACTUALLY RIPPED THIS! YES!
Do you have this on an MP3 or M4R file?
Try MP3 Juice....
100% MP3
(That moment when you have the artifact but you have 30 seconds to go) Me: GOTTA GO FAST
When it's 3 minutes before I'm supposed to clock in at work and I am still nowhere near my building.
i wish a extended version of this song 15:00
2:54 - The Crowds: "TEN! NINE! EIGHT! SEVEN! SIX! FIVE! FOUR! THREE! TWO! ONE! OHHHH!!!"
At 3 seconds, if it was in The Swamp...
"OHHHHH, TEMPLE GUARD!!! OKAY, GO!!! (Time up "explosion" sound effect) ...No, that's it, it's over, come on back."
Who escapes the pit of despair
You need both pendants to avoid Dan Schneider.
Play this when the final team does the temple part of the new board game lol
I’ve already thought of playing just the music, but this version with the giant original timer is amazing. The one with the map and pendant counter is okay too. Too bad this one doesn’t have the sound effect of Olmec lowering his gate.
Used this countdown for new year!
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2022
This will be perfect to use for the board game version.
Last 3 minutes of 2020....
This plays when you're driving home and you're only a few minutes away but you're ready to shit yourself any second.
Significant other: Can you set a timer for 3 minutes?
Me: My time has come!
This use to have me in suspense
This shit was intense as a kid cause you don't know where you running into and the temple guards scary the hell out of you lol smh 90s was Best 🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
@@patrickswayyyze1090 yeah and the temple guards use to scared the shit out of me
THIS SUMS UP EVERYTHING , IN 3 MINUTES.
I listened to this to see if I could run on my daily walk.
I haven't ran so fast since I was a kid.
Alright lets get your mouthpieces in. Olmec lower your gate if you please
Olmec: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaamp
Put three minutes on the clock. On your mark, get set, GO!!!
"There she goes, up into the temple! She's heading into The Crypt, where she'll have to pull the books from the skeletons!"
The fact that someone took the time to upload this is halarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Y'know what the TV movie was missing? THIS playing during the climax.
Oh that heart room deceptive name since a temple guard always seems to lurk there or the treasure room
Black Mask and Blue Mask were there almost every time!
Alternate title:
The music that might play when bro texts you "thanks for everything" at 3AM.
I would have been too young to be a contestant anyway. There's also the fact that I'm from Europe.
This sounds like a Megaman or Sonic boss battle tune.
Sounds like a Castlevania theme
There needs to be a rock verison of this
They never gave the Shrine of the Silver Monkey room a break.
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I hate to say it but it's true.
question, where did you managed to get this song along with the other temple game songs as well?
When the audience used to count the last 5 seconds of the run with this music, that would make my skin crawl ..
KazaaMafia and the crazy part is, the temple runs were taped with no live audience.
@@Krg8485 What? So they are using sound clips for the audience?
@@Krg8485 Nevermind I read this..
Some of the show's Temple Runs in Season 3 were taped without an audience. This was because usually six episodes were taped a day, and all segments were done at once. That is, all moat rounds were taped, then all Steps of Knowledge rounds, then all Temple Games, then all Temple Runs. Players usually waited two hours between taping a round for their episode. The reason for no audiences, however, was because the Universal Theme Park (where the show was taped) had closed, and the audience members had been sent home.
Other than in Season 3, other Legends episodes have been recorded without an audience. Two known episodes that had a Temple Run without an audience are "The Milk Bucket of Freydís" and "Galileo's Cannonball."
Kirk: Olmec, lower your gate!
Olmec: *HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!*
*Gate lowers while moaning*
"Let's put 3 minutes on the clock! (cue 0:00) ...On your mark... Get set... GO!! There he goes, up into the temple!"
lol, I still can't believe there's going to be an adult version of this.
When there are only three minutes to get to your next class on the other side of the school:
There he goes up into The Temple... Where's he going... He's heading up into The Crypt!
