Absolutely love this build! Still using the older double lightning staff version, but one of my favorite things to say about this build is it is so easy and so powerful that I made some other builds for variety LOL you can annihilate everything with this build quite easily while still staying alive and never begging for resource recovery from your healer👊

Do you find 2 piece has been outperforming? Finally, if you want a damage shied, I’m thinking maybe Iceheart as another source, or loose to much DPS?
Not a lot about 5k or so but then you have to consider that you now have access to loads of splash damage on the front bar should you feel like heavy attacking and you carry destro passives all the time.
@@midnightsoulband9320 not as drastic as 12k but 5k-7k depending on the player is fair. But since the damage is on the higher end not the lower end that really doesn't make a massive amount of difference for most. 5k off of 100k is nothing. 5k of of 10k is a lot. Depends on the player really 😀
@@xynodegaming update: very first try with S/S, hit 80k. Swapped to the S/DW version and was able to gold my necklace (all jewelry were purple before) and now I’m hitting 92k on a first try 😳
So i have a question. Are you using a keyboard on xbox? Second question is, how do you cast so fast? Because sometimes i have to hit the button more then once to make it fire.
Would whorl of the depths be a good substitute for gear? Im using the AOE version and I have everything right. I got all of the depths gear last night and seen some of the bonus' were quite good. Just wondering if it would totally mess up the build putting it on.
Hey @xynode love the build I have played magplar since day dot but I'm really struggling to get vma done even when the patch dropped on console last night I did benifit from the reduced hp but again frozen rink round got to boss bang killed when ice goes again is there a really simple build I can use to get it done its really frustrating me now thanks in advance I'm trying this build out and still farming gear for easy sorc to try that out
People put too much emphasis on build in vma when it is 95% mechanics and practice. Keep going you will get it ! But also remember you can do it on normal. The weapon is back barred so ypu don't need the perfected pen bonus since.it will barely see the light of day (that first piece perfected bonus only applies on the back bar)
are you saying that the build has only 5% importance in vma? . It seems to me a very risky statement for a person who is supposed to know about this game.
@@cesarva1997 played it on stream with random blue gear and no cps many times. While that is by no means easy, understanding mechanics is the key to that place. Lots of people spend more time blaming their setup rather than their mistakes. Practice practice.
@@Natescott1992 check out the VMA guide on my channel, you MAY be overburning, getting overwhelmed or just struggling with positioning and manoeuvring. I show a clean way to pace that boss and many have found it much easier afterwards. it IS a rough boss no lie :) Hope that helps!
Overwhelming carries status from the hits, multiple target damage in a bunch of enemies and a HUGE amount of free sustainability. While other sets may offer more flat damage you may spend more time clawing back your recovery than doing your rotations which will in turn cause you to do less if you cannot micro manage. As it is Overwhelming performed flawlessly with great consistent uptime and control. Orders however, in an optimized situation and or reflecting the target dummy buffs in content would put you OVER crit damage cap. So it would be wasted as a 5 piece set in those situations.

hi, is using purifying light better than using power of the light? as of today and in terms of pure dps, not utility

What about solo magplars? which skills should I use cause I have to rely on myself for bufs and debufs. I love to run with ember as my companion.

Mmm... I think I'll try this with Mora shoulder.
Mora was less optimal but great if you cannot rely on a monster set proc due to mechanics and range.
