Now I’m not gonna lie, I have some opinions about this movie, such as Todd being an entirely unnecessary character or Ambrosius getting off too easy after doubting his SO until the truth was staring him right in the face, but even so, the fact that this movie was amazing is undeniable, definitely gonna be checking out the graphic novel later. It's not that Ambrosius is getting off easy, it's hard to leave behind taught behaviors and prejudices. Even Ballistar took time to see who Nimona really was inside. Change takes time. What is important is people keep fighting for change, even in yourself.
I watched this movie once and already I love it. Mostly because Nimona is the most adorable psychopath i've ever seen. And she's got a legitament reason to dislike most of the people in the City, and yet despite all the chaos she brings, she never actually seriously injured or killed anyone. Killed their rep and mutilated their pride, most certainly.
This movie was amazing. Every scene hit. Cutting together Nimona's nightmare and flashback scenes was an inspired choice. The action scenes flow really well together as well! Great job making use of the character and camera motion! And the climax with the montage of their friendship combined with Ballister talking Nimona down! Now I'm emotional about the movie again aaaa!
